Training Ground 3
Naruto, Sasuke and Hinata were all engaging against a single adversary.
Yet no matter how hard they try, they just couldn't land a hit at him. Whether it was shurikens, Kunai, Smoke bombs or any other ninja tools, they have used it.
But they were still unsuccessful on landing a hit on him while their sensei who was dressed as if this was just a casual walk was not even trying hard as he tries to pick his nose.
Tsk
Sasuke have had enough as he made a distance and weaved hand seals.
"Get away!" Naruto and Hinata heard him and immediately retreated.
"Fire style: Fireball Jutsu!"
Sasuke inhaled mouthful of air as he exhaled flames towards Osamu.
Osamu himself weaved hand seals and casted his own jutsu fast enough to counter.
"Water Style: Water wall jutsu."
Just before the flames hit him water suddenly rose in front of him, saving him from the flames.
"And here I thought Genjutsu was supposed to be stage 2 before Ninjutsu?" Osamu commented as the water and fire became mist.
"Well then, here's another one. Better take this seriously or you might die."
Osamu weaved another batch of hand seals.
"Water Style: Water Shuriken Jutsu!"
Shurikens made of water formed around Osamu and he launched them towards the trio, but he seemed to be not done as he said.
"Water Shuriken Kage Bunshin Jutsu!!"
The 3 of them saw horror as a rain of water shuriken came for their them.
Naruto with all his might covered Hinata on pure instinct while Sasuke tried his best to cast another fireball in front of them.
Hinata used Byakugan and saw that not only the rain of shurikens not real but the ones that are real is not even going to their direction.
If Naruto or Sasuke tried to run away for cover then the real ones would've hit them since Osamu's target was in all escaping routes except Hinata's location.
Hinata realizing this looked at Osamu who was also looking at him and was putting his index finger in front of his mouth.
A signal to keep quiet and Hinata nodded.
Their response put a smile to Osamu's face.
'well, I guess they passed.'
Soon Sasuke's fireball hit the water shurikens but simply passed through it, no choice left Sasuke also used his body to cover Hinata along with Naruto and both boys closed their eyes.
They waited for the pain.
And waited.
And waited.
But it never came.
When they opened their eyes they could see Osamu smiling with a thumbs up.
"You passed!"

Dango Shop
After telling his new Genins that they passed he told them to follow him for a celebration.
The 3 could only look at him in confusion as to why or how they passed.
Naruto kept asking along the way but Osamu simply told them to wait till they arrive at the Shop.
As soon as they sat down, Naruto asked again.
"I still don't understand how we passed! Will you please tell us now?"
Osamu didn't answer immediately and ordered for each of them.
Then he looked at them who were now eager to hear his answer.
"Do you guys know the white fang of Konoha?"
"White fang of Konoha? Who's that?"Naruto answered.
Sasuke shook his head in denial while Hinata answered with a "No."
"It seem like you all don't know him. You see for me, he is a hero of Konoha."
"What does him being a hero of konoha have in connection to us passing."Naruto asked annoyed.
"Hmn, One thing I don't like my soon to be disciples to have is a very thin patience. We're gonna work on that Naruto."
"Why are you telling us about the white fang of Konoha, Sensei." Hinata asked which earned a smile from Osamu.
"Glad you asked."
"You see, the white fang of Konoha failed a very important mission because he prioritized his teammates' lives. He saved them rather than completing the mission."
The 3 nodded.
"But he was otracized by the village for failing the important mission which costed the village a lot. Even the teammates he saved condemned him."
"Why would they do that?! He clearly saved them!" Naruto complained forgetting what he asking about originally while Hinata and Sasuke agreed.
"There are all kinds of people in the world Naruto, people who betray you, people who fools you, people who uses you, people who sees you weak and helpless, and more."
"In the Shinobi world full of those kind of people, the white fang chose something a real Shinobi wouldn't choose. He chose to be a hero in a world of villains."
"And then what happened?"Naruto asked again.
"Then he committed suicide. The end."
"What?! Why?!!" Naruto outraged at the outcome.
The Dango Osamu ordered came.
"Why don't you eat your Dango for now Naruto?"
"I still prefer ramen but since you're treating us then I'll help myself."
"I still don't understand how we passed sensei." Sasuke asked this time while biting a Dango.
"Well you see, the white fang of Konoha is the father of my Sensei when I graduated same as you guys."
"Why won't you just answer directly?"
"I am answering directly, it's all just connected to each other. Besides if I skip to the good part you guys won't understand how you guys passed."
"Sigh fine, I'm listening."
"Good." Osamu smiled and ate another Dango.
"My sensei taught me this rule. Those who don't follow the rules are scum but, those who abandon their comrades are worse than scum." The trio still had a confused look.
"The Water Shuriken Kage bunshin Jutsu I did earlier, if you've noticed, is a Genjutsu, well part of it. The real ones were hidden, their trajectory towards different directions."
"Directions where in, if Naruto and Sasuke tried to escape and left Hinata alone, both of you would've been hit. The one's coming towards Hinata were all Illusion."
Sasuke and Naruto were surprised and had a sweat run through their backs, thankful they did the right thing.
"So, do you understand now why you passed?"
The trio nodded.
"Good."
"In this world full of lies and dangers, don't forget that you are not alone."
"You have comrades who will be there with you when you stumble on your path to become the greatest Hokage. Comrades who will remind you to never give up on your dreams." Osamu pointed at Naruto.
"You have comrades who will be there to help you become the strongest version of yourself." He pointed at Hinata.
"And comrades who will be there to have your back when you take your revenge." He pointed at Sasuke who was shocked at his words.
"If you are to be my disciples, you will accept my terms. Your dreams are also my dreams, your aspirations are also my aspirations, and your revenge is also my revenge. If you still want to be part of team 7, you will abide by this rule, now the question, do you want to be a Genin in my team?"
"Of course I will.!!" Naruto answered.
"I will." Hinata replied.
There was silence and they looked at Sasuke.
"Do you know the person I want to kill?"Sasuke asked as he hid his mouth with both hands doing the emo thing.
"I probably killed him already for you but yeah, I know him. He is currently a rogue ninja from the village right?"
"What do you mean when you say my revenge is also your revenge."
"It means you are not allowed to go alone. This is not just a team here, this is something more. I don't want the normal Team. I want the best team, and for that to happen, we all need to be in this together. In everything." Naruto and Hinata were touched by his words while Sasuke was deciphering or trying to see if Osamu was lying.
What he saw however was a very serious Osamu. He was showing him that he was very much committed to his words.
"Can you make me strong enough to kill him?"Osamu smirked at the question.
"If you want to be strong enough to kill him, that is also doable but, are you sure that is all the strength you want?" By now Naruto and Hinata are already both curious who they were talking about.
"If I can kill him, then that will be enough for me."
"We shall see." Osamu replied and smiled, his plan for their training already formed in his mind.
