After discussing things with the town chief, I started working on building a perimeter wall for the village first as its first line of protection for whatever or whoever is not supposed to enter. As for the materials that will be used for it, I have everything I need in my storage due to my recent purchases and harvests during my trips.
Being that this is my second time building a wall, I started with strategically marking where the "corner posts" for the future perimeter fence will be. I call it a fence since it would be made of wood but it is more of a wall with the size that I decided to work on. I could definitely make a round fence if I wanted to but to be safe and make sure it is supported well and sturdy enough, I made the fence into a hexagon shape so there would be 6 corners and maybe a few terminal posts here and there.
