Merwyn stared at Mia, who had a smug look on her face. The potato was stuck to his face and he was still processing what happened. Then he licked his lips and gave her a playful smirk.
He plucked the potato from his cheek and placed it on his plate.
"What a bad little kitty. Kittens like you need to be disciplined."
Mia's eyes widened and she hissed at him. "I'm not a kitten, I'm a katsith!"
He laughed, picking up a fork. "Same thing."
"IT IS NOT!" She snarled. "I AM A MAGNIFICENT KATSITH! NOT SOME PET KITTEN!!"
Merwyn gave her a smug look, then stabbed a potato with his fork.
"Discipline." He chirped. "Is the only way to train a little katsith with an attitude~!"
"YOU'RE THE ONE WHO NEEDS PUNISHMENT! YOU! YOU! NNYYAAAARRGGHHHH!!" She shrieked and lunged across the table at him, claws out.
Emily sighed, as Mia toppled Merwyn out of the chair, backward.
Before she could say anything, there was a loud slam on the table.
