Shayan changed his clothes right after the class ended. And went to the place where he was going to meet Amir. He went there too early and waited a few hours for Amir to come. He spent his time practicing Nur control, Master Harun had given him basic instructions in the class earlier. Nur control is the art of controlling one's Nur energy and concentrating it according to their need. He practiced continuously for 3 hours until Amir showed up. He was amazed to see Shayan's progress in such a short amount of time. He didn't know that Shayan couldn't sleep or eat or urinate or rest, which gave him more time than others, but the pain and restlessness he felt every second was no joke. Pain in every part of his body was continuously increasing day by day. But he was too good at hiding his feelings and suffering from everyone. Opening up to others wasn't his style.
"So, what are you going to teach me first?" Shayan asked as they both walked away from the gate.
"Just basics then you can do everything on your own, I hope," Amir answered as he sighed.
"You don't just use weight control, you increase the power, speed, and strength of your arm as well. If you only made it heavier, you couldn't have done what you did." Shayan asked as he stopped next to a forest.
"You have a good eye. Yes, I increased my arm's strength and by putting some power and speed in the throw that's how I was able to create that hole. Speed and strength are basic and important, no matter what idea you come up with to fight. If you are using weight control, elasticity control, length control, or size control. Strength and speed are important for every style. Basics are increasing what you already have, like strength, speed, your vision, your hearing ability your ability to smell etcetera." Amir explained calmly. They both walked about 2 to 3 hundred meters away from the Academy and stopped right where the forest, that surrounds the academy, starts.
"Just as Master Harun explained Nur control, concentrate Nur energy in your hand." Amir eyed a tree that was right next to him and clenched his fist. His fist started slightly glowing as he concentrated Nur Energy into his fist. "Now think as if your power is increasing, imagine it being 10 times more than it is." He got into a stance and was ready to throw a punch. "Now, try that power out." He threw a punch with his right hand and hit the tree he was eyeing. His punch was strong enough that the tree got pulled out of the land along with its roots. "And this happens," He looked back and smiled.
Shayan was flabbergasted by Amir's strength, he didn't have words to explain his excitement so he quickly went on to try it for himself. He concentrated his Nur energy in his right hand. "I can feel something moving in my hand and I can also feel like my arm's getting stronger."
"You have a very poor sense of explaining things, and I am sure you aren't doing it right. Your hand isn't glowing with Nur Energy as well." Amir frowned, "But, go ahead try punching something hard."
Shayan made a fist and punched the tree just beside him. He scratched the surface of the tree and moved it a little. "That's all I can do right now, I mean it's just a bit more than I could do when I hadn't gotten Eldris Vessel. And as for the speed, I am faster than a normal human but I'm guessing that won't be enough to survive here. I don't see much development in my strength or speed."
"Well, it was your one day. So, let's start with the basic training that we Augmentums do to control our Nur force at will. You see Augmentums Prodigies rely on Nur control. If you put more Nur into your arm than it can handle and increase its power 10 folds without hardening your arm's hardness, your arms will be blasted away." Amir threw his hands down like they were lifeless, and then he closed his eyes. "Let me show you the basic step to gaining control on Nur energy." His whole body started giving off yellow sparks of lightning. Shayan was amazed to see it. "This is called Total concentration. In this, you run Nur energy in your whole body equally, head to toe, and then maintain it. Key word is 'equally' if you concentrate more in one place, your Eldris Vessel will be effected."
"It seems easy all I have to do is concentrate my energy." Shayan threw his hands down just like Amir and tried to run Nur's energy in his whole body just like he did with his hand before punching that tree. But he couldn't even get his Nur energy to circulate through his body.
Amir stopped his total concentration. "It seems easy but it takes time to even perform it. Mastering total concentration can open a lot of ways that how you can use your power. There was a Prodigy Knight in the House of Augmentum he used it to control his body size. He would become as big as 100 feet giant or as small as an ant. Total concentration is also known as Eldris Cloak as well. Other Houses also use it as a method of--." Amir got interrupted as they heard a loud thrust.
Like something heavy was coming their way. "What is that sound?" Shayan asked. "I don't know." Amir walked in front of him. A man came flying from the forest and crashed right in front of them. He was badly injured. Bruises on his whole body, and probably had half of his bones broken. It took Shayan a while to recognize him because even his face was covered with bruises. He rushed towards him. "Zayan, what happened?" He was unconscious, Shayan picked his head up in his arm, "Hey, Amir give me a hand." Amir took a step back "No, he is Zayan. He is a monster throw him away. And let's go somewhere else, let him die." Shayan was shocked and in anger, he shouted, "What the hell are you saying?"
"Throw him away and run, it must be the enemy's force or--" Before Amir could explain himself or Shayan could ask something, a man showed up from the forest. Shayan and Amir couldn't move because of the aura he was giving off. Amir mustered some courage to speak, "Shayan leave him and run."
"You think I will let you run away." The man said as he looked at them with a cold gaze, he didn't have any kind of emotion on his face. He was about 7 feet tall and his body was huge. He was wearing a purple jacket with no sleeves, showing off his muscles and abs. He was wearing black pants with a brown belt on it. And had long messy hairs and a beard like he had never combed or trimmed. He was a mess. His purple jacket had some holes in it.
"Who the hell is this guy now?" Shayan shouted. "He is a traitor, he killed his comrades and ran away. He was a member of the Lava Hounds Division. And to make things worse he is also an Augmentum. He uses some strange Prodigy. I am not sure what it is. His name is Abbadon, it means The Destroyer."
Abbadon tilted his neck and looked at Amir. "You know a lot about me." He said with a heavy tone.
"I am Amir, son of Emir and the heir to the House of Augmentum it's my duty to know about traitors and deserters." Amir was wearing a dark blue pent and coat. He took his coat off. He had a white shirt with no sleeves under the jacket. "I will kill you in the name of the House of Augmentum." Before anyone could comprehend what was happening, Amir took out some of his stones and increased their weight to 100 kg per stone. Abbadon just stood there and watched him, with his hands resting in his pockets. Amir hurled one of the stones towards him, Abbadon didn't even try to dodge it. The stone didn't hit him, it seemed like the stone went through him.
Abbadon looked at Amir, "You can't even aim with those things, are you really the heir to the throne of House Augmentum? If you are that means they are doomed." Amir started throwing stones one by one aggressively but none of them touched him, they went throw him. "You have strength and speed but you lack precision. Your aim isn't nearly good." Abbadon caught a rock that was flying towards him, "They aren't even heavy enough, even if your aim was precise, you still would have lost." Amir was shocked and terrified after witnessing his power. "He grabbed a stone with 100kg of weight like it was nothing." He thought to himself. "But, I can't back down, my family's pride is in line here."
Shayan was still trying to wake Zayan up. But he had an eye on Amir as well.
