You pass away
The second your down the street
Sweet and dull
Only if I dug in
Peeled back the modest shell
Would I find radiance
Scarlet essence
A syrup vein
A waterfall of flavor
You roll away
Down the hill
And I ponder
Your outer appearance
Your flesh
Your loves
Your hopes
If I held you in my hand
Your dreams would burst from their case
Pulpy and sweet
A party running down my fingers
Nature's gift
There are so many that I will never eat
So many I will never meet
And I just keep walking and forget every detail of your face
How your back is slumped and feet carry you with a bounce
