Lily Smith followed the chopsticks with her gaze, only to see Sky Moore's face, furrowing her brows, she picked up the piece of meat with her chopsticks and threw it on the table.
The man saw her action but didn't react much, only offering a slight smile and looking away.
Tsk, Lily Smith felt a bit annoyed.
It felt like she was being unreasonable.
She continued eating her rice silently, occasionally listening to Sky Moore discussing business with her father. Sky Moore seemed to have done well over the past eight years; he answered every question Samuel Johnson threw at him without missing a beat, and his opinions were even sharper than she had expected.
The more Lily listened, the more depressed she felt. She threw her chopsticks on the table, declared she was full, stood up, pulled out her chair, and left.
"Lily?"
Amanda Smith called out, but Lily Smith didn't turn back and walked away silently.
