Jocelyn's voice carried a certain tension, as if she was busy.
"Jocelyn." James Brown got straight to the point, "Amelia Clarke's brother is missing, does it have anything to do with you?"
Without waiting for Jocelyn to respond, he added, "Tell me the truth."
There was a moment of silence on the other end, followed by Jocelyn's mocking sneer, "Brother, are you suspecting me?"
James Brown's voice remained calm, "It's not me who suspects you, it's Owen Moreland who is suspecting you."
"How do you know he's suspecting me? Brother, when did you become Owen Moreland's lackey? Weren't you capable before? Where's your ability now?"
Jocelyn seemed to have walked to a place with no people around, as James Brown noticed that it suddenly became very quiet on her end.
"Jocelyn, you have no idea what's happened—"
