Nia Mitchell, holding a pink and a blue toothbrush, ran excitedly towards him.
"Of course! Aren't they great? I thought of you with everything I bought, Uncle."
Maxwell Peary's lip twitched as he looked at these things. "As long as you're happy."
Nia stuck out her tongue playfully and happily tossed the toothbrushes into the shopping cart.
"Uncle, it looks like you haven't bought anything," she said, looking at the shopping cart. Everything in it was something she had picked up along the way; Maxwell hadn't bought a single item. Wasn't it his idea to come to the Supermarket to buy some daily necessities?
"AHEM! Follow me." Maxwell turned, pushing the shopping cart forward. Nia trotted to keep up, her face beaming.
Uncle Peary doesn't seem angry anymore! I dodged a bullet, OH YEAH!
After winding through the aisles for two minutes, Maxwell stopped in front of a row of shelves. Nia stopped too, smiling at him.
