After the battle of Mount Oe, Kamiyagawa reaped considerable gains.
He acquired the Heavenly Tail Feather Fragment, the Divine Remains Bone of Ibuki Daimyojin, and the legendary demon-slaying sword Tōjikiri Yasutsuna, which could be counted as the spoils within Mount Oe.
As for his shikigami, the one who benefited the most here was Inugami.
The dog swallowed a significant amount of Ibuki's Great Snake's flesh and blood, absorbing and seizing a great deal of divine nourishment and faith power.
To date, the most significant parts of the flesh and blood consumed by Inugami came from Asuramikoto and Ibuki's Great Snake.
Coincidentally, these two deities are respectively a Dragon God and a Serpent God.
In Japanese mythology, dragons and great snakes inherently share a close origin.
