As Kesshou Makenyu narrated, Kamiyagawa continued to flip through the documents in his hand.
He saw the name of a shrine appear in the documents—
[Kanda Shrine]
This shrine is also located in Chiyoda District and is one of the oldest and most revered shrines in Tokyo Metropolis, enshrining the deities Ōkuninushi, Sukunahikona, and Taira no Masakado, collectively known as Kanda Myojin.
"According to records, the purpose of establishing Kanda Shrine was to venerate Taira no Masakado's Vengeful Spirit, and initially, it used the Fang Xiang Nuo Formation to suppress the vengeful energy. Even today, on Setsubun, Kanda Shrine holds a retreat ceremony for exorcism."
"As early as the late Heian Period, the Fang Xiang Nuo masks in Kanda Shrine were already different from others. You see, the intertwining of red, blue, and brown colors is somewhat similar to the Kumadori style of Kabuki."
