"Morning my Lord!" the middle-aged man said with a smile.
"Morning to you too, Solen. Is it time?" Eldric asked back, his excitement boiling as he realized that it was likely time.
"Indeed, the Lords of House of Hammers and the Lady of House Caerwyn have already arrived. We are finishing the final touches before we can begin"
"Excellent!" Eldric gleefully exclaimed.
Inside the waiting room, where all the guests would gather, five people sat. The atmosphere was not tense or gleeful. There was silence as the two House leaders stared at one another.
"So you decided to join the House as well?" Lord Throin spoke, surprised and laced in his tone. He raised his brows as he looked at the rather stunning woman sitting opposite of him.
"Hmpf! As if there was any reason not too" Lady Anya spoke with vigor and a matter-of-fact tone that surprised Lord Throin even more.
"It's only right that we should seek out the strong, no?"
