"Prepare for battle!"
Just as Peter Brown was about to hide, a voice suddenly appeared, enveloping the sky and earth—every soldier could hear it.
"Such formidable power!"
Peter Brown muttered to himself.
"Raise the flag!"
As the voice sounded, Peter Brown felt a tumultuous stirring within his Brain Domain, and then, the military flag of the Purple River Star Region abruptly appeared in the sky above the battlefield.
Looking upward, Peter Brown saw the military flag directly above him; though it was somewhat high, the direction it represented was indeed just above his own position.
Now, Peter Brown understood the principle of 'Where the person is, there the flag is'. It meant that no matter where he intended to run, the flag would move with him.
How could this be?
Peter Brown looked at the flag above, then at the more tumultuous rift between the two realms, thinking that this was making him a target!
