Without wasting a second, Chiba raised his hands at Naruto and focused horizontal gravity in the ninjas hands, parting them just a movement before he could finish the seal!
"Alright kiddo, thats enough!" Chibas figure suddenly flashed before Naruto, appearing before him similar to his own teleportation!
Naruto was cut off mid jutsu and loss most of his chakra, he didn't have enough to teleport so instinctive raised his dagger in a defensive manner to stop the attack, only for him to wait a few seconds and realize no attack came.
Chiba had instead outstretched the unconscious kushina to her son, while shocked by the action the blonde boy still snatched her away and jump back.
By now, dozens of Konaha ninja had surrounded Chiba who only wore a hospital gown and they had all drawn their weapons onto him. It was slightly comical as a slight gust of wind blew his gown to the side revealing Chiba's bare cheeks for the world to see.
"The battle is over! Surrender now or else we'll have t-" "Its fine, he's a leaf Ninja." a loud exhausted and monotone voice rang through the ninja.
Everyone turned and looked at the exhausted Kakashi walking through the crowd, his masked face covered in soot and blood.
"You guys can't recognize the hero who saved the leaf village 15 years ago, during Orochimaru's escape?" A wave of realization washed through the ninja, young and old.
Those old enough to have lived through it, or those young enough to have been taught about it in Shinobi Academy, immediately recognized the ninja that stood before them.
"You mean this is Chiba Uchiha!?" Naruto looked at Chiba with wonder and hope in his eye.
Unlike the common ninja who only dreamt of maintaining Konoha's current status in this world, Naruto knew things beyond petty village conflict.
The truth of the future that his father had taught him, the truth that his father only knew of because of the man that stood before Naruto now, Chiba Uchiha!
'This is the man my father told me about, the man who taught my father of the future and the man who sacrificed himself to defeat a being comparable to even the strongest tailed beast!'
From the moment he was born Naruto was trained and molded by Minato, from the moment he gained consciousness he was taught how to fight.
With Chiba being comatose for fifteen years the burdened of the worlds fate had nowbrested solely on Minato, he didn't dare dilly dally and immediately began preparing Naruto for the dark future.
All his life Naruto was told about the sacrifice this man did for the world and nobody knew it. Besides his father, Chiba was the man Naruto had the deepest respect for.
Looking down at his red haired mother completely unharmed, a blush of shame bloomed on his face but was hidden behind his fox mask. The idea of using the Reaper Seal on his idol was extremely shameful.
"I-Im sorry for the mistake, I reall-"
"Your apologies can wait for later fox, me and Chiba have something to discuss..." Kakashi cut Naruto off, his one eye staring directly into Chiba 's.

Walking through the destroyed Village, Chiba walked side by side with Kakashi as he swallowed military ration pills Kakashi gave him by the handful.
With each handfull of pills he swallowed, his left arm would fall off and a new one took its place. This arm would then crawl on its fingers until it found a wounded person and began healing them.
Chiba felt greatful that Life return evolved into Biokenisis, its usefulness was boundless and when he regained his Chakra it will become even more usefull.
Of course it still had some limitations, it did takd his system nearly 15 years to manually rebuild his body back from literal nothing. Chiba didnt even want to think about how long it wouldve took himself to rebuilding Complex DNA Molecules, hes glad his system did that for him.
That being said now that he's got the DNA blueprints on how his body should be built, he can heal his body nearly instantaneous!
These arm creations Chiba makes aren't sentient and can't think for themselves like shadow clones, they are more like robots that carry out specific task he asks of them. They were to seek out those injured and to heal them the best they could.
Looking at the hand crawling over to a bleeding ninja and began sowing him up with blood wire, Kakashi shook his head at the strangeness of it all.
The duo walked for a couple minutes until they arrived at the partially destroyed hokage building and walked in and headed up to the meeting room.
As he walked into the room, Chiba spotted all of the leaders of the village's clans, Danzo, jiraiya and the village elders all sitting down around a large table. Jiraiya in particular had a face riddle with guilt and and anger.
The Frog Sage got to the village just in time to witness the flying tailed beast get defeated by Chiba, he was too late to save hiruzen or even fight off the fleeing sand ninja, he missed the entire fight by an hour!
"Why is he here? This discussion only requires those of high status to participate in" Danzos grating voice said, his eyes glaring at Chiba with greed and anger.
"The Uchiha patriach has been in the land of Medicine for the past two months, so the Uchiha officials labeled Chiba 'the savior of the leaf', to be the most suitable temporary replacement" A ninja with a Uchiha fan symbol said, getting a dissatisfied look from Danzo.
After the fight with the invader, Minato officially titled the comatose Chiba the savior of the leaf. He couldnt use Chiba sacrifice against the invader for the reason, so he had to use Chiba's feat of saving the village from 'Orochimarus' poison as an excuse for this title. They've even created a statue of Chiba in the old training ground he use to train in!
Getting a grumble from the Danzo, Chiba walked over to the Uchiha who defended him and sat down in the Uchiha patriachs chair. Kakashi walked behind to Jiraiya and stood there, his job done and the meeting could finally proceed.
"Its best we cut to the chase and begin so we can focus on village repairs, I will nominate Jiriaya as the next hokage" the Village elder, Homura Mitokado.
Chiba felt his heart sink as he came to a realization, the fact they are voting for a new Hokage and the fact that Hiruzun was the active Hokage, meant Minato must have been killed.
"I agree with his sentiment, I too nominated Jiraiya" the other Village elder, Koharu Utatane added.
"Strength shouldn't be the only requirement to become the Hokage, one should also be able to manage resources and lead people... Thats why I nominate my self." Danzo weaseled in.
Everybody looked at Danzo incredulously, even the elders who were friends with Danzo prefer Jiraiya over him.
"I vote the great sage Jiraiya" Zushi Sarutobi said, the temporary leader of the Sarutobi clan after Hiruzens passing.
"I also vote Jiraiya" Hiashi Hyuga said.
"I vote for Jiraiya" Tsume Inuzuka said
"I'll vote for Jiraiya" Chiba absentmindedly added, wanting this meeting to be over.
"I'll also vote for Jiraiya"
"I'll vote..."
It was a unanimous landslide victory for Jiraiya, Chiba could clearly see the anger building up in Danzo as everyone besides himself voted for Jiraiya.
'Once I get my chakra... Danzo will pay dearly. This old fool will spend the rest of his life wishing for death.' Chiba hated Danzo with all his being, death was too lenient of a punishment.
With the final vote being casted, Jiraiya stood from his seat.
"Thank you all for putting your trust in me, my first and only act as the Hokage is to declare Tsunade senju the next Hokage and for my retirement." Gasps and hushed murmurs rang out in the meeting room.
Everyone from the elders and clan leader stood up, their dissatisfaction clear on their face.
It was totally allowed for the Hokage to choose his successor, that's how Hiruzen came to power after all. They just didn't think Jiraiya would do so a second after becoming the Hokage!
The looks of discontent and annoyance appeared on not just Danzos face, but the faces of everyone else. What was the point of this vote if he immediately retired, it was no different than Jiraiya just declaring the next Hokage without the vote!
"Calm down, calm down. Tsunade is a better choice than me in almost all aspects, not to mention she's been traveling around and studying medicines for the past decades. Perhaps she's learned something that can finally fix Minato Namikaze"
Chibas eyes widen!
