Charlotte Green leaned against the wall that recorded all her moods over the years, and stayed there for a whole day, until Ethan returned with another bunch of fresh flowers, her tear-streaked face still not dry.
"Charlotte, these are the flowers I went to ask the flower girl for, I heard that giving flowers to a woman will make her happy!" Ethan presented the beautifully wrapped bouquet with both hands, speaking in a childlike voice.
Charlotte laughed softly and hugged her son into her arms; they sat together on the floor as she looked at the flowers he had brought back this time, "What did the flower girl say is the meaning of these flowers?"
Ethan adorably shook his head, "The flower girl told me to think of one myself, so I named it 'joyful'. I give it to Charlotte, and Charlotte will be joyful!"
Charlotte burst into laughter, kissed his rosy cheek, and took the flowers, "Charlotte is indeed very happy, happy to have such a wonderful treasure like Ethan."
