One night, it was raining hard. A car traveling 100 mph was followed by three Range Rover cars. The Black Phantom sped up toward the mountainous area. The sky thundered, and lights blazed across the horizon.
Bullets fired at the black phantom as the car whizzed from left to right, attempting to escape. But the rovers were capable of overthrowing the vehicle in front. When the Black Phantom rushed into the darkest parts of the road, the driver decided to abandon it.
When morning came, Xavierre's father, Aragon, came home in a hurry. Xavierre stayed in the pack's hospital, waiting for his brother to wake up. His father came rushing as he asked, "What happened to Zeke?"
"Brother met an accident on the road last night, Dad. I traced the monitoring system of the area where he last left his car. Three Range Rovers followed it, and those cars had missing plate numbers. Brother was forced to shift into his wolf form, trying to escape the hunt. But he was not expecting an ambush."
