The battle was over—and they had won. They could finally breathe a little easier, at least for now. But this victory only hinted at even stronger and more dangerous enemies waiting ahead on their journey.
"Good job, guys," Rama said, looking at Axel and Shoji with a nod of approval.
"You too," Shoji replied.
Axel simply nodded, his eyes fixed on the heap of bones, rusted armor, and the old sword. He walked toward it, observing from a distance, still hesitant to touch anything—there might be lingering, unknown energy left behind.
Rama and Shoji joined him, standing at the edge and silently staring at the heap for a while. Rama activated his Supernatural Perception, hoping to see the stats of the ancient armor.
He wasn't sure it would work—until now, he had only used the skill on supernatural creatures.
But as it turned out, once the skill was active, Rama could actually see the stats.
