The Nightmare Veil formation was one that Raze didn't use much as it was a formation that took up a lot of mana and Qi. It wasn't particularly powerful either, but more so something that would be used if going up against a large number of enemies.
In this case though, he wanted to trap and attack Enaxx from wherever he could. The mist that usually would come with the formation was almost non-existent under the guise of the Eternal Night formation.
As Enaxx was wondering what was happening, he was seeing beasts made out of Dark magic come right at the two of him. They were large in size and looked vicious.
Using a mixture of his wind and fire spells, he tried to incinerate them or cut them apart. As the beasts' bodies broke down though, they would explode into parts of Dark magic, making their attacks even slower than before.
Right after a large beast exploded, Raze was right in front of the Wind-formed Enaxx.
