"Loki?"
"Isn't he just a Frost Giant known for his cunning tricks?"
"He's made it into the biography too!?"
In Sanctuary II, Thanos' face turned a deep shade of red, barely containing his rage.
Death had betrayed him not long ago (at least he thought so), leaving him mentally unstable.
Now he discovers that someone as useless as Loki, who only excels at deception, is on the list. This infuriates him even more.
He had done so much for the universe, and yet he wasn't on the list. But Loki, a mere trickster, surpassed him? It was infuriating.
"I remember that Loki was in the same group as Ebony Maw. Bring him back to me immediately!" Thanos ordered, his voice dripping with anger.
However, a panicked voice replied through the communicator, causing Thanos' eyes to narrow.
"Father, the fleet Loki was on has lost contact. The last signal we received, seven days ago, turned out to be fake."
Thanos clenched his fists tightly, taking a deep breath to control his anger, before speaking again.
"What about Gamora and Nebula? Any sign of them?"
A few days ago, the two sisters had left, claiming they were off to find the Soul Stone, but they never returned. It was like they had vanished without a trace.
Neither sister was especially powerful, but they had been in the galaxy long enough to know how to avoid danger. The only explanation for their disappearance was that they had betrayed him.
The next voice from the communicator was apologetic and filled with fear.
"I'm sorry, father, but we haven't found them either."
Even though he wasn't physically in front of Thanos, the voice on the other end quivered, imagining the fury in Thanos' eyes.
If Thanos demanded he come back now, Ebony Maw knew he'd have to find a way to return without facing Thanos' wrath.
"I see."
Thanos replied in a flat tone, then shut off the communicator and closed his eyes.
"This universe deserves no sympathy."
With those words, his consciousness was transported to an illusory, desolate planet. There, in the distance, a figure sat on a throne, shrouded in a purple robe. Thanos fell to one knee, bowing deeply before the shadowy figure.
"My beloved goddess of death, I am willing to do anything to earn your favor and acquire more power."
A seductive voice, like the whisper of a thousand temptations, emanated from the figure in the purple robe.
Death lifted her hood, revealing the face that could make Thanos forget the entire universe. With slow, deliberate steps, she walked toward him, her expression a mix of scorn and allure.
With a mocking laugh, she placed her hand on Thanos's head and said, "Then bring me death to satisfy me. If you can eliminate life across the universe, then I will be yours."
Thanos's eyes blazed with desire as he looked up at the goddess. He took a deep breath and replied, "Very well."
Meanwhile, on Nidavellir, the Dwarf planet...
Tony Stark was at ease, hammering metal as he worked on his latest armor project.
He had discovered that he loved it here—no politics, no backstabbing—just forging, forging, and more forging.
The dwarves didn't look at him with suspicion; in fact, they were enthusiastic about his work, respecting his craft.
However, he knew his time here was limited. Odin had sent a message, summoning him to Asgard for an important mission in three days. He'd need to leave soon, but at least his armor was nearly finished.
As he hammered away, a holographic screen appeared in front of him, displaying a familiar face. It was Loki.
Tony's expression turned grim. How could it be him? He remembered all too well the chaos Loki had caused in New York, nearly taking his life in the process.
This could only mean trouble.
It's unsettling to see such a dangerous person on the list!
In Kamar-Taj, Strange found this puzzling and said, "It's strange, can he be on the list?"
Strange wasn't trying to underestimate anyone, but in his eyes, Loki was just a minor character with the ability to cast illusion spells.
If not for his strong Asgardian physique, Loki might not even be able to defeat Kamar-Taj's mid-level mages.
"Who knows? Maybe this is just fate," the Ancient One replied, uncertain of what was happening.
Meanwhile, viewers from countless worlds were also puzzled. In previous Marvel videos, Loki appeared a few times, but he seemed more like a comic relief character than a real threat.
But then the screen started playing.
[The scene opens inside a spaceship, but it looks more like a nightmare.]
[Blood, corpses, flames, and screams filled the space.]
[A towering figure stood on the bridge, unfazed by the carnage around him.]
[When the atmosphere felt tense enough, Thanos slowly turned around, grabbed Thor by the head, and dragged him forward until he stopped in front of a man with a grim expression.]
[Thanos calmly issued his ultimatum:]
["Hand over the Tesseract, or I'll crush your brother's skull, Loki."]
"Isn't this the scene from the video where Tony died? Why are we starting here?"
"And if I recall correctly, Loki dies in this scene, right?"
Doctor Strange looked around, curious about the absence of Wong. However, he got no response, and the Ancient One remained silent.
Strange sighed. He suddenly found himself missing Deadpool's incessant chatter. He wondered when Deadpool's punishment would end.
It was a shame that he hadn't yet had the chance to drive the four-seater Lamborghini.
Meanwhile, the audience watching the scene was also confused. They had caught a glimpse of Tony Stark's display, showing Loki's death. It made this segment feel too brief.
Over in Asgard, the horrifying images didn't seem to affect Thor's emotions. His eyes only reflected a sense of awareness. He understood that the universe was a harsh place, and power was the only thing that could safeguard Asgard.
[The scene revealed Thanos standing amidst a pile of corpses, patiently waiting for Loki's answer to his question.
Loki stared at Thanos for a few seconds without responding, but then he spoke with defiance, "Just do it!"
Thor wasn't surprised by Loki's response, but he still felt a bit down. He'd hoped for at least a moment's hesitation from Loki, but there wasn't any.
Seeing this, Loki felt uneasy, noticing the subtle shift in Thor's mood.
Understood.
Thanos, unfazed by the refusal, nodded slightly. He then pressed the Power Stone against Thor's head without hesitation.
Thor immediately began to struggle, his screams echoing in pain. The Power Stone's devastating force would be unstoppable even for the mightiest Asgardians.
If this continued for more than ten seconds, Thor would be reduced to ashes.
At this moment, Loki couldn't hold back any longer. His eyes turned red with fury, and he shouted, "Stop!"
["I'll give you the Rubik's Cube!"
[He thought he could, but he couldn't."
"Ha! I just knew you loved me, Loki."
At that moment, Thor's joy erupted like a Husky let loose to play outside, then a firm grip clamped onto him.
As Thor felt the exaggerated bulk of Thor's pectoral muscles pressing against him, Loki's lip twitched, exhaustion washing over him suddenly.
Yet, a glimmer of relief still nestled in his heart.
"Under Thor's relentless charm, Loki capitulated."
He raised his empty palm, and with a subtle flourish, the elusive universe Rubik's Cube materialized.
"I promise you, we shall see the sun tomorrow," Loki pledged to the pained Thor.
But Thanos' laughter echoed, "You're too optimistic, Asgardian."
"No, because we have the Hulk!" As Loki's words echoed, the mighty Hulk emerged with a thunderous crash!
"This is Loki's trump card, seeking to catch Thanos off guard!"
And within Loki's hopeful gaze,
"Hulk initiates the attack!"]
On the dwarf planet, Tony finally comprehended why the Hulk struggled to find peace in the last moments.
It was a psychological scar.
