Jane McCain was furious.
She followed Allen Rivera downstairs, got into his car, and her tears were still flowing, even her fingers were trembling slightly.
She wasn't just angry, she felt wronged! Heartbroken! Embarrassed! Furious!
Allen handed her a tissue, Jane took it and wiped her tears, only then did she wonder, how did Allen happen to be here at this moment?
Was he here investigating a case?
She sniffled and said, "If you have things to do, go ahead, you don't need to bother with me..."
Allen replied, "I came to find you."
"Huh?" Jane looked up at him in shock, then realized her makeup was probably ruined from crying, she quickly turned her face away and covered it with the tissue.
"How did you know I was here?" she asked softly.
"I went to your office to find you, your assistant said you came here," Allen said, "I'm not familiar with this area, it took a few laps from the parking lot to find the right place."
