Chloe Hughes noticed that ever since Arthur Nelson returned from a talk with his elder brother, something seemed off about him.
She pointed to the dumplings and said, "Let's eat dumplings!"
Arthur nodded.
He went over and began eating earnestly.
Seeing him like this, Chloe laughed, "My brother isn't going to eat you alive, what did he say to you? What could he have possibly said? You haven't annoyed him lately!"
Arthur looked up at Chloe.
Chloe was startled, "What's wrong? Does it have something to do with me?"
Arthur smiled, "Your brother said he's worried you won't be able to get married, so he told me to hurry up and take you. Now, that puts me in a bind, doesn't it?"
At those words, Chloe's face turned red with a sudden blush, and in anger, she hit Arthur with her fork, "What are you saying?"
Arthur jumped up and ran away laughing loudly.
