As Lucifer was speaking with Rubues, Elizabeth approached and said, "Sir, Lady Alysa and Lord Licht are ready and requesting your presence."
Lucifer replied, "Understood," and vanished into the shadows.
In an instant, he emerged from a shadow outside a wooden cabin by the lake.
Lucifer said, "Well, summoning me here definitely brings back memories."
Licht replied, "Have you heard?"
Lucifer nodded. "Yes. I'm a bit surprised someone had the nerve to issue a Conqueror's Challenge against our nation—and that the Grandmaster is considering sending me."
Licht said, "Good to see you're informed."
Lucifer added, "Of course. It's impossible for any major piece of information to pass through this nation without my knowledge. I have eyes and ears in every key building."
Alysa asked, "So… do you also know—"
Lucifer interrupted, "No. I don't."
Licht said, "Are you seeing this?"
Lucifer responded, "Yeah. Someone is trying to split us up."
Alysa asked, "How?"
Licht explained, "Someone used the Evil Eye to go after Klaus, forcing me to divert my attention there. And now, this challenge—pulling Lucifer away as well. It creates gaps in key defense positions. The three of us are in an alliance. If any one of us is attacked, we have direct communication and teleportation links to each other's HQs. But if two of us are occupied, the third becomes vulnerable."
Lucifer said, "Alysa, take this."
Alysa looked at the object and asked, "What is it?"
Lucifer said, "It's a teleportation orb. It's reinforced with my dark magic. If you're ever attacked, throw it on the ground—no matter what's going on. I'll be instantly teleported to that location. But use it only if your life—or the lives of your subordinates—is truly at risk."
Alysa smirked. "Since you're giving me this… does that mean you love me that much?"
Licht said, "Well, you are dedicated, that's for sure."
Lucifer said flatly, "No. It's not love. It's a necessity. You're a vital part of the future I'm creating."
Alysa asked, "What kind of world are you trying to create?"
Lucifer began to answer, but before he could finish, Licht raised an eyebrow, intrigued.
Lucifer said, "Don't worry. I have a plan. We have three days until the challenge. Trust me—it's going to be a fun game."
Licht warned, "Your opponent is Draince—the strongest flame magic user from the land of Mutou. You do understand what you're up against, right?"
Lucifer said, "Yeah. And I can assure you—the game I'm about to play will end in our victory."
