"That's what my mom said when she called," Isla Astir replied.
"Let's go," Mandel Thompson stood up, "Let's first go to your aunt's house to understand the situation. If we're certain they are indeed in the Golden Triangle, I actually might be able to help."
As soon as he finished speaking, Mandel Thompson seemed to remember something and added, "Would it be inappropriate for me to go to your aunt's house now? Or should you go back alone?"
"It's fine," Isla Astir picked up her purse from the table, "We would have to meet sooner or later, let's go."
Upon hearing her words, the corner of Mandel Thompson's mouth curled slightly.
Meeting the parents turned out to be much easier than he had imagined.
