"What?" A frown instantly formed on Louis's face, and he immediately rushed in.
There was nobody in the changing room, only a paper left by her.
'Mr. Louis, I said it before and I will say it again. I don't want to marry you, goodbye!'
This sentence was written in hurry but writing was sharp making Louis stunned by it. He didn't thought that she would take a horrible step for her freedom.
She was the one who wanted to persuade him a few years ago. Could his investigation result on her be wrong?
How could his investigation be wronged?
But the doubt of seed had been planted in his head now the urge to get her was more strong.
"Send to search for her. Immediately!" He gave an order, after few seconds.
He didn't know why his mother was so determined to made her his bride when there was difference like sun and moon between them.
However.
He could not let his mother have any regrets before she died.
After Louis had given orders to find Verena. He didn't stand there and marched out angrily.
This girl was flying too high and she did not know what type of person he was. When he said that she would be his bride nothing could stop him from getting married to her.
…
Furthermore, two days ago. Louis was presented in front of his grandfather, Cain Heisenberg.
"What brought you here, my grandson?" He asked in calm manner.
Although, he was shocked to see him here, he was pleased that he came all the way to meet him personally.
No matter what the issue was.
He was willing to give whatever, the arrogant grandson wanted.
"I was missing you but that's not the sole purpose of me here. You know Mother's health is not good I had to admit her to the hospital last night."
The elder nodded, took a sip of his herbal tea, and spoke, "What doctors have to say about her health?"
"They informed that she got a heart tumor and there's only six months for her to live." He looked down as his eyes got wet but he controlled himself.
Cain immediately got his attention towards him as he couldn't believe that his daughter-in-law only had a few months to live. She was going to die before him, made him feel bad.
His eyes were on Louis who was looking down and wasn't saying anything. This grandson of his was always close to his heart.
Louis heart was so pure that Cain wanted to protect him but if he did then, Louis wouldn't able to be strong.
In future, if he have to take control of Heisenberg business there would be a lot of scam schemes that would swelled him whole if he stayed like this whining like girls.
But seeing the grown man breaking because of his mother made him realize how his son was when his mother was dead.
"Louis, is there anything else you want to tell me, hm?" He asked as he patted his shoulder. He didn't tried to gave him hope as hope would always made person to get easy on him.
He didn't want his grandson to lose everything just because of this news.
Louis controlled himself as his grandpa didn't tried to make him calm. He looked up and said, "there's something I find for you to look at."
Cain looked at him confusedly and Waite for him to show what he want. He pulled out the folder and put it in front of elder man.
"This is the record of financial department. Look at this, it was 1 Billion in last year. Look at this page, less than 2 millions were not here."
Grandpa held the both papers in his hands and take a good look at it himself. His expressions got ugly as he threw those papers on the table he glared at his grandson.
"Who is responsible?" He asked coldly.
"Alexander."
The expressions on Grandpa's face turned more ugly as he stood up and dialled a number.
Louis only looked at him as he brought the cup to his lips were a small smirk formed before it gone.
When the other person accept the call grandpa spoke, "I need all records of financial services and all the payments that have been given and have been accepted since last year. Everything you feel suspicious about would showed to me. Do you understand?"
Cain asked with authority in his voice.
If there was someone else present in the room they would be scared to death by now but it was his own grandson and have been used to this behaviour of his grandfather.
"Are you sure it's him?" He asked unsure.
"There's no one else who needs to gain access through the shareholders." Louis informed though he was correct this time, "I heard he had been planning to get hold of shareholders and set a meeting soon."
When Grandpa heard this he sat down with an angry face, he said.
"Okay, I will take care of it when the time comes." He informed and added with a smile.
"As a good grandson of mine. You can have Heisenberg villa as a reward. I believe you will handle the business better than my first filial grandson?"
"Of course, Grandpa." Louis smiled at him.
"But there is one condition." Grandpa Cain narrowed his eyes darkly.
Louis knew his grandpa wouldn't just help him get the business so easily.
So he nodded, "If I can, I will do whatever you say to get the company back."
Cain nodded in good mood and told him, "If you are able to get married in two weeks I will let you get the company and after your father's retirement the company will officially be yours."
Louis wouldn't ask more as he knew it was one of the rules, if the CEO didn't have a partner he wouldn't get the company either.
Louis nodded and smiled, "I also have to tell you something."
Grandpa Cain frowned and waited for him to say, "I am dating someone. If she say yes, we will get married soon." He showed his soft smile to Cain who immediately turned happy by the news.
While his other grandson was busy playing girls, this grandson of his was always busy with studies and when they entered the company.
There was some complaints that Louis wasn't working when in reality it was his first grandson who was framing his younger.
Cain knew that Edward his eldest son didn't want to give company to Louis.
But if there was this fraud in his own family he wouldn't have the company of his incapable grandson.
