Carmichaels laughed at Brad's response and walked out, brushing past the incoming group. It wasn't the first time, Carmichaels had broached his daughter to Brad. He frankly thought that they would be great together, but Brad was having none of it.
Carmichaels stepped out of the building, his hands tucked behind his back, deep in thought. His face bore a pleased expression, laced with a hint of curiosity and pride.
