On the pitch, Hiro pushed himself up. He wiped the dirt off his face and looked at the sidelines. He could see the departing figure of Diego. He could see the chaos unfolding on the pitch.
'Things got more complicated than they should have been,' he thought as he followed the departing figure of Diego.
Before leaving the pitch, Diego turned around to look at him.
Though he had a rather infuriated expression, upon meeting his gaze, he became solemn. The fire in his eyes died as if they were hinting at something.
It was as if he was saying, "I leave the rest to you".
No words were exchanged between the two, but Hiro understood the assignment.
He nodded before Diego turned around to leave.
As he averted his gaze, he noticed Vittorio viciously staring at him. Even though he had fouled him, there wasn't even a shred of concern or guilt in his eyes. Instead, he looked even more proud than ever.
Grinning, he moved his lips.
