Artemia PoV
"Hey, Artemia, would you mind grabbing the watermelon from the cooler for us?" Gael asked, his voice pulling me out of my thoughts. "It's getting a bit hot and some refreshing fruit would be nice."
"Sure," I said, walking inside. As soon as I was inside, I was treated to a shirtless Ore. He had taken off his shirt and was jugging a glass of water.
I gulped as the sight of his bare chest sent a shiver of heat through me. The way the sunlight streamed in through the window, highlighting the contours of his muscles and the sheen of sweat on his skin, was almost hypnotic.
He chuckled. "Like what you see, Arty?"
I blushed and looked away, crossing my arms defensively over my chest. "Why are you shirtless in the kitchen?! Put something on!"
He shrugged. "What's the big deal? I'm just grabbing some water before I go take a shower."
"I-I know, but still, have some decency!" I said, trying to hide my flustered state behind my usual sternness.
