Chapter 33 - Chapter 33

The day of school had arrived. Malfoy passed through platform 9 and 3/4 and stepped onto the Hogwarts express train. The new semester was about to begin. When he passed through platform 9 and platform 10, he silently mourned for the two in his heart. He knew that there would be big news tonight.

"May I ask what kind of experience it is to drive a car that can fly? Perhaps there's also the intimate contact with the Whacking Willow? "Malfoy felt the corners of his mouth curl up as he thought of this.

After casually finding a seat on the train, Malfoy quickly discovered that there was a vacuum around him. No one was sitting next to him. It was clear that the influence of the rumors from last semester hadn't completely disappeared. Some of the Slythrin students who worshipped him only sat next to him. Perhaps they felt that the lonely Malfoy was more charismatic.

"Even though it's not a box, I still feel like I'm sitting in a box. Will anyone charge me more?" He did not forget to mock himself. He took out a book and began to prepare for his lessons. Or perhaps it was more accurate to say that he was having fun. He took out a large pile of books, and all of them had the name Lockhart in their titles. There was also a new magazine — Antagonist.

In all fairness, Lockhart's "experiences" were actually very interesting. It was a pity that he stole the results of others. Those who could wander with werewolves, travel with ghouls, and vacation with hag were defeated by a Forgetting Curse. If they knew that their experiences were sold for so much money under someone's packaging, would they sue Lockhart to the court of Wissengammon?

Lockhart himself had also proven that one plus one was greater than two. His legendary experience and handsome appearance alone probably wouldn't attract many people, but when combined together, it created a great attraction. Just by looking at the grand occasion of the signing event, it was obvious that he wasn't just a "girl killer," he was also a "master's milk killer."

After skimming through these interesting but not nutritious stories, Malfoy began to flip through the magazine he brought with him before boarding the train — Antagonist. In fact, he felt that these nonsensical news and imaginary creatures that did not exist were more interesting.

"Dad said that people who like to read the magazine that he edited should be good people." Malfoy suddenly heard an ethereal voice in his ear. At the same time, he felt the light dim. He looked up and saw a girl of about eleven or twelve years old standing in front of him. She had light blonde hair mixed with brown, long to her waist. Her eyebrows were very light, and her eyes were bulging outwards. This made her look like she was in shock. She wore a pair of radish-shaped earrings on her ears and a necklace made of corks made of butter and beer hung in front of her chest, making her look even more mysterious.

"Can you lend me this book?" the girl asked.

"Of course." Malfoy nodded and handed the book over. Strangely, after the girl received the book, she sat across from Malfoy and flipped the book around, reading it upside down.

"Perhaps I should bring a daily Prophet next time?" Malfoy could not help but think.

Her signature appearance and strange behavior were enough for Malfoy to guess her name — Luna Lovegood.

As if she saw something interesting, Luna suddenly laughed loudly, which attracted the attention of the people around her. However, it seemed that she did not care about other people's opinions.

Since the book had been lent to someone else, he had to find something else to do to pass the time. Malfoy took out a small book from his pocket. Some of the pages had nine squares drawn on them, and the nine squares were grouped together. Some of the spaces were filled with numbers, while others were still empty. He took out a quill and began to write and draw on it.

"What is this?" She seemed to be reading very fast. Perhaps it was the special effect of reading the book upside down? She quickly handed the book back to Malfoy and looked at him writing on the paper. She could not help but ask curiously.

"A little game invented by Muggles to pass the time." Malfoy said without raising his head. He was at a critical moment in his calculation.

"Shouldn't it be 7 here?" Luna pointed at an empty space with her slender finger.

Malfoy checked the answer, and the corner of his mouth twitched. If he remembered correctly, he did not tell this "crazy girl" any rules. "How did you calculate it?" He could not help but ask. Apparently, his confidence was damaged.

"Intuition. It's like someone told me to fill in the number here." Luna said with her unique voice.

The corner of someone's mouth twitched even more.

"It seems that this book is more suitable for you." Malfoy handed the booklet over to Luna. She happily accepted it and said in a dreamy tone, "Extraordinary intelligence is the greatest wealth of mankind." Then she began to write on the quill. Of course, she did not need to draft like someone else. She only needed to look at the answer twice to fill in the answer.

"Intuition is not qualified to say this. This is clearly cheating." Malfoy was a little depressed. He began to read the magazine again.

"Thank you." After a few minutes, Luna returned the completed form to Malfoy. She stared at him with her silver-gray eyes for a long time. Then she said, "You seem to be very lonely. I always feel that you do not fit in with this world. Although there are always people who say that about me, I feel that you are different from me. "

"Is that so?" Malfoy tried to hide his surprise and said jokingly, "Indeed. You saw that there was no one else who talked to me except you."

"You know that's not what I meant." Luna frowned.

"That's why you'd better let me continue to be alone. When you reach the academy, someone will tell you how terrifying the person sitting in front of you is." Malfoy did not answer her. He tried to make a fierce expression to scare the girl away.

"You are a good person. I feel that you have no evil intentions." Luna shook her head and said.

"Two good person cards in a row?" Malfoy felt that he had gotten into a big trouble.

"Where do you think I can find a curved-horned snoring beast?" She suddenly asked and changed the topic. It was indeed difficult for ordinary people to keep up with her jumpy thoughts.

"I don't know." Malfoy said absentmindedly. He thought to himself, "Maybe you need an Eris Magic Mirror."

"What about the Snot Bubble?" Luna asked.

Malfoy painfully covered his forehead with his hands. He felt that the biggest failure of the day was to talk to this girl.

Luna looked at him curiously and comforted him, "Don't be sad. We will always have a chance to find them." She fiddled with her radish earrings as she spoke. She seemed to have a card up her sleeve.
