Chapter 11 - Chapter 11

In the blink of an eye, it had been almost two months since they arrived at Hogwarts.

Today, Malfoy was very excited. He was beaming with joy. Even when he was eating, the corners of his mouth were slightly raised.

"Isn't it just permission? Why are you so happy?" Beside him, Pansy was using her fork and knife to deal with the smoked fish on her plate.

"This is just permission. This represents knowledge, wisdom, and power!" Malfoy was not as calm as before. He said loudly.

"I think you should take your plate over there." Pansy pointed at Ravenclaw's territory.

Due to his excellent performance in many subjects, Malfoy had finally obtained the right to borrow most of the books in the library. He did not need to ask Madam Pins for permission.

Some of the books contained powerful dark magic that had never been taught in Hogwarts. These books could only be used by students who had chosen to study advanced defensive dark magic. If they wanted to read these books, they would need the permission and signature of a teacher before they could borrow them.

To him, the range of books that he could borrow had expanded once again. Other than some rare books or books that were too dangerous, he would need to ask for permission. The other books were unimpeded by him.

"I think you can't even concentrate in class today." Seeing Malfoy's agitated expression, Pansy began to use her poisonous tongue again. She was clearly unhappy with his behavior.

"I don't see you this happy when you're with me." Pansy suddenly felt a little unbalanced.

"You're right. There's still class later." Malfoy tried to calm himself down. He obviously did not hear the jealousy in Pansy's tone.

However, it was clear that Malfoy was a little absent-minded in today's class.

The last class in the afternoon was a herbalism class. Malfoy rushed to the library after class. This made Professor Sprout wonder if the effect of his lecture was too bad.

"I wonder if there's something wrong with the sorting hat." A group of Ravenclaw students were whispering. "If he's from our academy, the School Championship this year should be ours." It was clear that the news had spread to a few academies.

"What's there to be proud of? Isn't it just good results?" Ron was a little indignant in Gryffindor's lounge.

"I think we should think about how to apologize to Hermione. That's the most important thing. "Harry changed the topic.

"Apologize? Ugadim Leviosa! "Ron suddenly shouted," Did you see her like that? We seem to be retarded in her eyes. "

"Ron, that's enough. You know that's not what she meant." Harry interrupted Ron. "I'm sure you saw her crying just now."

"So what?" Ron's face showed a trace of unease. Obviously, making a girl cry was not something to be proud of under any circumstances.

"Let's apologize to her at the Halloween party. I know you're just being stubborn, 'said Harry.

"Alright, alright. I'll apologize, right? "Ron looked a little impatient.

Malfoy was currently walking through the bookshelves.

The history of Hogwarts was so long that some parts of the wooden bookshelves had already begun to decay, giving off the smell of rotting wood. Some of the books had been sealed for so long that they were covered in dust.

Malfoy searched for the secret knowledge he hoped to acquire. He scanned the room quickly. His two heels followed his line of sight.

He stopped and stood in front of the oldest bookcase.

"You're the one." Malfoy pulled out a book. The cover was a little blurred, and there was a thick layer of dust on it, making it difficult to read the title.

"Clean it up!" Malfoy used magic.

The book looked better, but the words that had been blurred by the erosion of time still did not become clear.

"That's enough," Malfoy thought.

"Right, looks like we have to go back early today. It seems like it's an important day. " Malfoy usually did not care about these activities, but today, everyone seemed to be excited. The teachers and students were discussing something enthusiastically. Pansy seemed to have given him a few hints in the morning. She said something about candy pumpkins.

"Halloween!" Malfoy suddenly thought of something.

"That seems to be a key point in the plot. Right, trolls!"

As Malfoy was thinking, he suddenly felt a heavy bump on his back.

"Sorry." A familiar female voice came from behind.

"Isn't that the main character today?" Malfoy looked back and saw a head of messy curly hair. Who else could it be but Hermione? Her eyes were a little red, and it was obvious that she had been crying.

"Isn't this Gryffindor's Know-It-All? Seems like you're not in a good mood today. Did you quarrel with someone? "Malfoy asked knowingly.

In his previous life, Malfoy had heard a theory that some people would put up a strong front in front of familiar people, but in front of unfamiliar people, they would take off their armor. Today seemed to prove it.

Hermione's eyes suddenly became misty. She said, "They all say that I like to curry favor with teachers. Ron even said that I was like a nightmare in the magic class. I just wanted to remind him that his spell was not right. Why do they say that? "Hermione seemed to have suddenly exploded.

"And the group of people in your academy keep calling me something mud. I hate that nickname!"

"Do you want to see me make a fool of myself now? In front of you, the only thing I'm proud of is gone! "

Malfoy was a little stunned. He did not think that they were familiar with each other. Hermione's weak behavior made him feel that he should be a psychiatrist now. He had to take up the responsibility of enlightening her.

"Ahem." Malfoy coughed.

"Then, as the most outstanding first-year student in Slythrin, I think I can apologize to you on behalf of the useless students in our academy." Malfoy bowed slightly.

"Then, I would like to express my apologies. I hope you can do me the honor. How about Honey Duke's candy shop? It's Halloween today. "

Hermione was in a daze. It was obvious that she had said those words purely to vent her emotions. She just wanted to chase him away and calm down. But she did not expect that not only was he not angry, he even apologized to her.

"Aren't you angry?" Hermione's voice suddenly weakened.

"I think that since a Gryffindor has the courage to apologize to a Slythrin, then I can't be too petty. Isn't that right? "Malfoy had obviously brought up the previous incident.

Hermione was silent for a while, and suddenly said softly, "Hogsmeade can only be visited on Saturdays, and you need the permission of the third-year students and teachers."

"In this world, there are only places that you are willing to go. There are no places that you can't go."

"Gryffindor's courage should include breaking the rules."

"Maybe if you break the rules more, you'll be able to mix with them, right?"

"Follow me." As he said that, Malfoy lifted his leg and walked away.

Hermione seemed to have made up her mind about something. She stomped her foot and

followed behind Malfoy.

Gryffindor's students were born with the genes for adventure, weren't they?
