"Yes. But don't worry. Some servants and chefs will come in the morning to clean the house and cook for you daily. They live in a cabin in the woods behind the house. You can't see them; a magic barrier seals the house. You might see their cabin if you gain the ability of your divine eyes," Xavier patiently explained.
She couldn't help but smile upon hearing his words about divine eyes. If only she possessed that ability, it would be amazing. However, she'd have to wait to acquire such a power. Because, for nearly three months, Lucian hadn't assigned her a single task.
At times, she couldn't help but wonder if Xavier had some involvement in preventing Lucian from giving her assignments.
