Nox only stared at the system screen for a little while before ignoring it and moving to the large arched windows at the side.
He pushed the windows open, and light, accompanied by the frigid winds of Frostpire, bathed him. However, this did not ease his worries at all, even though he could see the netizens moving about their day.
While he was watching, the door to his room suddenly creaked open, and Drake Frostpire walked in.
"You finally woke up," Drake smiled as soon as he saw him.
"What year is this?" Nox asked hurriedly, even before Drake could speak another word.
Drake tilted his head to the side, his eyes narrowing in confusion. "You've only been asleep for two days, bro," he said a moment later, walking into the room to open the other windows so the morning light could stream in.
"Just two days..." Nox held his chest, feeling a sense of relief wash over him. If he had truly slept for even a month, he would have been really pissed with himself.
