The old nanny screamed out in fear: "Old Madam! Help!"
Suddenly, there was a loud bang, and the horses and carriage galloped towards a large tree on the side, crashing into it with a loud thud. The people inside the carriage flew out, landed on the ground, and vomited blood. Shortly after, they breathed their last.
A middle-aged man managed to control the horse, which was neighing in terror. The horse lay on the ground, twitching uncontrollably.
The old nanny's face turned ashen as she witnessed the entire accident firsthand. Had it not been for someone rushing out from the side just in time, the carriage would have crashed into the Huo family's carriage, and the consequence for Old Madame Huo inside might have been dire.
Even so, the crazed carriage still knocked the Huo family carriage askew.
Coming back to her senses, the old nanny ran tremblingly to the carriage, lifted the curtain, and looked at Old Madame Huo inside: "Old Madam, how are you? I'm scared to death..."
