"I checked it three times over Goku, this Dragon Ball radar is not broken." Bulma said as she put the final screw back into the handheld radar.
"Then why isn't the final ball showing up?"
"My radar is able to pick up the unique electromagnetic wave the dragon balls emit, so something has to be blocking the waves." Bulma replied after some thought.
"What should we do then?" Goku mopped
"Why don't we ask Master Roshi. He's lived a long life and he'll surely know someone who can help us." Krillin suggested, speeding up the plot.
"That's right! let's go and ask Master Roshi for help!" Goku jumped up and immediately wanted to use his flying numbus to leave.
"Wait a minute Goku, I want to go to Kame House too. I also want to see Yamcha. It's been so long and he hasn't called me once," Bulma shouted.
"But Bulma you can't ride the flying nimbus, so how can you go with us?" said Goku.
"Actually she can ride with me, my flying nimbus doesn't have the same requirements as yours Goku. Infact I think your the only person on this planet who can't ride my flying nimbus" Krillin said teasing Goku.
"What do you mean I can't ride it?" Goku walked over to the Dark Nimbus Krillin had just called down and jumped on it, only to sink through and fall to the ground.
"What the heck Krillin! Why can't I ride yours!" Goku childish complaint elicited a smile from Krillin.
"My nimbus is the exact opposite of yours goku, only those with impure thoughts are allow to ride it and those with pure thoughts are forbidden to ride" Krillin explain patiently to the nodding Goku.
"I see that makes sense now." Goku hopped up on his nimbus and watched Bulma get up on Krillins.
"I actually just recently invented a shrinking machine so that I could just fit inside one of Goku's pockets, but it looked like I won't need to use it." Krillin knew she originally did this in the show but couldn't help but shake his head in disbelief.
After realizing Goku couldnt carry her on the flying nimbus, instead of just bringing an airplane or a helicopter inside of a Capsule with her, Bulma just goes ahead and built a shrinking machine! She chose the hardest solution for such an easy problem, and yet it only showcased how much of a genius she truly was!
With her arms rapped around Krillin, the three of them lifted off into the sky and flew towards Kame's house.

Drilled into the center of the mountain was an underground facility kitted out with incredible machinery. Metal body parts and machines were laid out everywhere along side dead bodies of people young and old.
"Finally you're awaken, a martial artist truly makes for fine material when building an android! Although unlike pure robots ill now have to brainwash him to do my bidding. Its better this way, i dont have the time to build a strong robot and i can't allow that boy to grow into the golden warrior who slaughtered me in the future!"
Dr. Gero looked at the emotionless Cyborg monk, Gori, sitting completely still and looking at a wall.
"I honored my part of the agreement, I gave you unimaginable strength, it just came at the cost of your freewill hahaha."
Plugging a wire into the cybernetic part of Gori's brain, Dr Gero began typing away as images and colors appeared in the Monks vision. The Doctor typed for just half a minute before a devilish smile bloomed on his wrinkled face and unplugged the machine.
"Go forth Android 9! Go and kill that Son Goku!" The evil doctor screeched.
"Understood" Android 9 replied emotionlessness.

(Kame House)
Master Roshi was giving training instructions to Yamcha, the wild haired bandit stretched his arm outwards and fired a Kamehameha wave, splitting the ocean in two!
At this time, a purple and gold cloud zoomed through the sky and was coming straight at them, Master Roshi sensed that it was Krillin and Son Goku who arrived but he thought he must've been mistaken from their ki!
Goku's strength had risen greatly since the tournament and surpassed Roshi but Krillin seemed to have surpassed even Goku! Unlike Goku ki that poured out like a wild animal, Krillins ki seemed to flow like a calm lake.
Krillin had just learned to suppress his ki and it still took a degree of effort to conceal it, he couldn do it for a few minutes but suppressing his Ki for hours gave him raging headaches. He still needed to train Ki suppression.
"Master Roshi!" Krillin and Goku flew down at the same time.
"Goku, Krillin, you guys have been doing great recently and your strengths have improved a lot!" Roshi said in shock.
"Bulma how have you been!" Yamcha ignored the reuniting teacher and disciples and met with his girlfriend.
"It's been several months and you haven't even called me, why act like you care now?" Bulma said angrily but hopeful Yamcha had a good excuse.
"I'm too busy practicing and don't have time. Besides, there's no phone in Kame House." Yamcha said guiltily.
"Then would it kill you to write a letter?" Bulma asked again.
"I..." Yamcha was speechless.
'It never made sense to me that Yamcha cheats on Bulma, she's attractive, rich and the smartest person on the planet. The author obviously did it just so she could get with vegeta, but I'd like to see how this actually plays out.'
"By the way, are you two here to practice? I doubt I have much left to train you" Master Roshi then remembered to ask why the two came.
"We are looking for the last dragon ball but the radar can't find the location of the last ball. I wanted to ask if you know someone or something to help us locate the last one." Krillin said, pushing master Roshi back into revealing his witch sister.
There was a deep silence as master Roshi thought about this, he ultimately let out a sigh before responding.
"I do know someone who can tell fortune, a greedy old hag." Master Roshi's spoke in annoyance.
"Then can you tell me where they are?" asked Goku.
"She is quite far away from here, you needs to go to the other side of the planet just to get to her. But every time she tells divination, you either give her 1,000,000 zeni or defeat her gatekeepers." said Master Roshi.
"I see, let's get going then!" The excited and impatient Goku said when he heard that he has to fight gatekeepers.
"Yamcha, you should go with them and check the results of your training over the past few months." said Master Roshi.
"Okay but how do we get there? There's not enough space on krillins cloud and I can't get on Goku's" Yamcha asked.
With a bright smile on her face Bulma pulled out a pair of watches, and handed one to Yamcha. "It's a good thing I brought my micro bands, with this we shrink down and ride with them!"
