Chapter 613 - Returned

Having escaped Hell, I found myself in a place outside of even the outer Chaos. It was a place that words… Well, describing it with words alone was an impossibility, though some did come to mind.

"I understand why I needed to be equivalent to the World Creation Realm to leave Hell… This place is dangerous… I doubt anyone below the boundless power of this level would survive for long… Such an overwhelmingly powerful crushing force. And it's such a vast, yet also non-existent space. Any average person would go mad just attempting to comprehend this place."

"Husband, shouldn't we make our journey back now? I'm quite eager to meet my new sister wives, and the rest of the family too."

"You're right, now let's see, where is it?" I searched for my homeworld…

It was at this moment, that Starboundary quivered sensing that something was different. And with an abundant surge of might, the fragment of myself left to the shrine, smirked. "So, it's time." A brilliant, radiant bolt of lightning shook the 3000 worlds. A herald gives the signal.

I looked and saw the tiny flicker. "There it is. I'M COMING HOME!" I roared once more, with an ethereal vision of the Draconic Phoenix appearing behind me. I was on my way.

~ Ink Battlefield ~

As the human race fought, those who used lightning as their dao, suddenly felt like their power was no longer wanning.

"Hey! Vice-Captain, retreat far away from here! I feel like going on a rampage."

"But…" Then the Captain's fists of thundering fury sent powerful bolts throughout the enemy. Even nearly hitting himself, and so he nodded to the captain. "Squad, FALL BACK!"

While this squad fell back, there were numerous cases of other squads, and even garrisons doing the same. In effect, it looked like there was a massive retreat going on.

"The humans are on the run! KILL THEM!"

However… This retreat was nothing more than a ruse. Because, even though they were 6th and 7th rank open heaven realms, they stayed behind. And with a nod to each other, a confirmation of their support. They called upon it, the power that once permeated the world, and one that continued to grow with every passing breath…

"MASTER! THIS HUMBLE DISCIPLE STANDS BEFORE THE ENEMY! USE US! GRANT US A PORTION OF YOUR MIGHTY STRENGTH!" A rumble through the battlefield could be heard and felt. "HEAVEN'S WRATH!" A call of unison, and was quickly drowned out by the sheer magnitude of lightning, ripping and tearing its way through the Ink Clan's forces, like soaring phoenixes and crashing dragons.

In this ferocious display of might, created by a deep seated connection to the mighties of Daos, and thus a direct connection to my vast stores of power… My lone 8th rank disciple noticed in an instant…

"My master, my brother-in-law, he returns… You can't beat me now, no matter how many of you show up, I'll, defeat, you, ALL!"

Using her own significantly higher understanding of the Dao, pressed forth, and the lightning sphere changed, evolving into something greater, pushing against the two powerful streams of Ink force. The sphere expanded, filling the entire area around her with Ink destroying lightning. And sure enough, after the long fight, these royal lords were exhausted… And eventually they were consumed under the intense pain of their very existence being refined into pure energy.

She smirked and turned to my little brother. "So, how's that, husband?"

My little brother's tails beat around excitedly. "My brother, he's really coming back?!"

Elsewhere in the void, the battle between Ink, and the other Supreme Masters of the human race and allies, was raging on until the very moment that roar reverberated through the void.

Ink had a different way to sense the impending disaster he was soon to face, but he still felt it. "No way, I… I… I… I killed that brat, how is he still alive?"

Yang Kai and company were a little more shocked by what was happening. After all, not all of them had a direct connection to me, so they were curious as to why they were so sure of it.

"Perhaps it's this fragment of his that we used to sustain our formation throughout this fight. It may have left its mark upon us all." Cang suggested.

"My son, you didn't die after all…" Yang Kai did his best to hold those water works at bay.

Though, there was one who couldn't hold it back. And the formation suffered for it. It was Su Yan, the wellspring of emotions that sprang forth was unyielding. "My baby boy!"

Ruo Xi and the twins had a joint moment where they sensed the power way off in the distance. "If Ink tries anything serious, we need to be ready. Leiji is still really far away."

Ink decided to capitalize upon this moment of shock. "If I'm going to deal with him, keeping you alive would prove to be… Troublesome. So, I'll kill you now!"

Ink created two super massive attacks. Filling each with more than enough power to kill all of the Supreme Masters that were currently fighting him. And it was also at this time, they all realized they had never stood a chance in the first place. Ink was far stronger than they had realized, even stronger than he was last time.

Yang Kai, wasn't just going to go down without a fight though. "You think we're just going to roll over and die?" He shook with rage, a rage that only a Dragon could possibly comprehend. "YOU'll HAVE TO GIVE IT YOUR ALL!"

"You're too late."

Ink fired his two attacks, both groups of power houses using their own strength to push back and delay their destruction. However, the delay was short, and might as well have been next to futile.

"Hmm, it seems like I came back just in time."

The inky attacks vanished into nothing, not even an explosion. Between the voice, and the disappearance of the attacks, all parties were confused. That was until they heard a chuckle and looked around for it.

"Sorry I'm late making my return. You've done well in my absence." I smirked. I then released Jiang Yanmei, and her maids, from inside my inner domain. "Go and help eliminate the rest of the rabble. The sooner the better."

"You got it, Husband!" Jiang Yanmei took out a scythe, wrapped in the dao of death. Though it was scary, it wasn't evil by any means, so her maids left with her into battle.
