The next day, all the racers lined up and waited for Lacey to fire the starting pistol, but first, she made an announcement. Lacey said, "Racers, you're now going to take a rest stop in Georgia." After announcing that, Lacey fired the starting pistol, and the racers took off. The Apple Picker is in first place, The Piano Trap is in second place, and The Alternate Choice is in third place. The Jungle Explorer is in 4th, The Flower Truck is in 5th, The Catmobile is in 6th, The Heroic Racer is in 7th, The Tropical Surf is in 8th, and The Portable Volcano is in last.
The Alternate Choice is in 3rd, but then they pulled a lever, activated a giant fan, blew everyone from 4th to 7th away, and put all four in last place. The Flower Truck is in 7th, but then they hit the turbo-speed button, passed everyone from 6th to 3rd, and took 3rd place. The Portable Volcano is in 6th place, but they put chocolate in a squirt gun and sprayed everyone behind them. The Heroic Racer is in last place, but they managed to shoot everyone from 8th to 4th with a laser, break the back of their cars, and still secure 4th place. The Apple Picker is in the lead, but when they saw The Piano Trap behind them, they dumped an oil slick onto the track and took out everyone from 2nd to 4th. The Jungle Explorer is in 8th, but then they pushed a button in their car, activated their propeller, flew over everyone from 7th to 2nd, and put themselves in 2nd place. The Catmobile is in last place, but then they passed The Portable Volcano and tried to pass The Tropical Surf. However, the Tropical Surf kept driving in front of them and wouldn't let them get by. Then, the Catmobile circled the Tropical Surf and took 7th place. The Piano Trap is in 3rd, but then they threw itching powder out of their car and into The Apple Picker's car. While The Apple Picker was itching, The Piano Trap passed The Jungle Explorer and The Apple Picker and took the lead.
The racers are heading out of New Mexico and into Texas. The Flower Truck is in 4th, but they sped up their car, passed The Jungle Explorer and The Apple Picker, and took 2nd place. The Catmobile is in 7th, but they hit the turbo-speed button, passed everyone from 6th to 3rd, and took 3rd place. The Piano Trap is in the lead, but then they flipped a switch in their car, threw silver throwing stars at everyone from 2nd-last, and flattened all their tires. Lacey said, "What's this? The Piano Trap has flattened everyone's tires, and everyone is pulling way out in front."
The Jungle Explorer got their car fixed first. After repairing their vehicle, The Jungle Explorer returned to the race, took 2nd place, and tried to catch up with The Piano Trap. The Portable Volcano got their car fixed next and took 3rd place. Team Surf was next to fix their car and return to the race. Once they returned to the race, they took 4th place and tried to catch up with the others. Team Hero fixed their car next, returned to the race, and took 5th place. Team Apple repaired their car next, returned to the race, and took 6th place. Team Cat was next to fix their car, get back in the race, and take 7th place. Team Choice was next to fix their car, get back in the race, and take 8th place. Team Flower was the last to fix their car and return to the race. Then they took last and tried to catch up with the others.
All the racers are headed out of Texas and into Oklahoma. The Flower Truck was last, but they passed The Alternate Choice and The Catmobile, taking 7th place. The Alternate Choice was now in last place, but they drove past everyone from 8th to 6th and took 6th. The Heroic Racer is in 5th, but they passed The Tropical Surf and took 4th place. The Apple Picker is in 7th, but they turned on their turbo speed, passed everyone from 6th to 2nd, and took 2nd place. The Piano Trap is in the lead, but when they saw The Apple Picker behind them, Tonya hit a button and activated their parachute, causing their car to come to a stop. Cory said, "Wrong button." Tonya said, "I know that." Then everyone from 2nd to 4th passed them and left The Piano Trap in 4th place. The Tropical Surf is in 6th, but they drove by The Heroic Racer and took 5th place. The Jungle Explorer is in 2nd, and when they saw The Portable Volcano behind them, they dumped an oil slick onto the field and took out everyone from 3rd to 7th until they regained control over their cars. The Portable Volcano is in 3rd, but then they used an extendable boxing glove to knock The Jungle Explorer out of the way. Then they passed The Jungle Explorer and took 2nd place. The Catmobile was in last, but then they flipped a switch in their car, turned on their turbo speed, and passed everyone from 8th to 3rd, taking 3rd place.
All the racers are headed out of Oklahoma and into Arkansas. The Catmobile is in 3rd, and when they saw The Jungle Explorer behind them, they pushed a button in their car and dumped cement onto the track. Then, all the racers behind them drove into the plaster and got stuck. After Team Cat trapped the other racers, Team Volcano threw a hornet's nest into their car. Then, all the hornets flew out of their nest and started to sting Team Cat. Chris and Joseph said, "Ouch, ouch, ow." Team Surf was the 1st one to get their car out of the cement. Once they did, they hit the gas, passed The Catmobile, and took 3rd place. Team Flower was the 2nd one to get their car out of the cement, and when they did, they hit the gas, passed everyone from 4th to 2nd, and took 2nd place. Team Jungle was the next one to get their car out of the cement, and once they did, they got back in the race and took 6th place.
While the other racers were trying to get their cars out of the cement, the Apple Picker threw balls onto the track, bouncing towards the other racers. Once the other racers saw the balls coming, they started getting hit. Chris said, "We're never going to make it across, getting hit." Gabby said, "We're just going to have to try to outsmart them." Shelly said, "Outsmart balls? How?" Gabby said, "Watch." The Tropical Surf put their hood up, drove by the racers in front of them and up to the balls bouncing towards them, and took 2nd place. The balls then bounced off their car and up towards the other balls. Gabby said, "Yo missed us." Lia said, "Oh, I get it." The Flower Truck put their hood up, too, drove up to the balls, and the balls bounced off them, too. Katie said, "Missed us, too." Then The Flower Truck took 3rd place and raced after The Tropical Surf.
Team Hero was next to get their car out of the cement. Once they emerged from the plaster, they activated their freeze ray, freezing everyone from 6th to 3rd, and took 3rd place. The Tropical Surf is in 2nd, and when they saw The Heroic Racer behind them, they pushed a button in their car and shot fire behind them, which melted the ice on everyone whom The Heroic Racer froze. Then Jess pressed another button and started hitting The Heroic Racer and The Flower Truck with marbles. The Flower Truck put up a shield to protect itself from the marbles, but the marbles broke the Heroic Racer's windshield. Team Choice was next to get their car out of the cement. Once they did, they got back in the race. Tonya said, "Rocket mode." The Alternate Choice heard Tonya's voice, activated its rocket boosters, and turned into a rocket car. Then they flew right by everyone from 7th to 4th and took 4th place. Tyler said, "Racing mode." The Alternate Choice heard Tyler's voice and changed back to normal. Team Piano was the last one to exit the cement, and when they did, they activated their turbo boosters, passed everyone from 8th to 3rd place, and took 3rd place.
