Chapter 10 - Preparation For Battle

Chapter: The Gathering Storm

Today, an unprecedented event stirred the very core of Navy Headquarters. All high-ranking officers—admirals, vice admirals, strategists—had been summoned for a classified, high-priority war meeting. The topic: the elimination of the Four Emperors, beginning with the three most active ones—Fujin, Emma, and Yami.

I had already guessed the purpose of the meeting. The world was changing, and the Navy had grown tired of letting these monsters run rampant across the seas. It was time for war. And I was ready.

Inside the grand war chamber, the atmosphere was suffocating. Maps sprawled across the massive table in front of us, covered in red-marked territories—each symbolizing the reach of an Emperor. The Marshal of the Navy stood at the head of the table, his face grim.

The Marshal: "Today, we gather to discuss the strategic elimination of the Emperors. Each of you admirals will lead a front. Choose your targets. This war begins now."

Admiral Zero stepped forward confidently. His eyes were sharp, battle-hardened.

Zero: "Fujin is mine. We've fought more times than I can count. I know his tactics—I know how to bring him down. I will require Zefa and a few hundred elite soldiers. That's all I need."

The Marshal nodded.

The Marshal: "And you two?"

Admiral Yamamoto: "I'll take on Emma. That woman is chaos incarnate. We share unfinished history. I want Sengoku and Tsuru at my side."

All eyes turned to Admiral Kong, the mightiest among them.

Admiral Kong: "That leaves Yami. The youngest, but not to be underestimated. I want Garp and Gojo with me. With the three of us, we will strike fast and win decisively."

He looked at me with a grin. I nodded back. We both knew how dangerous Yami was. But we also knew what we were capable of.

The Marshal: "Very well. I will accompany Admiral Zero. As Marshal, I refuse to stand idle while this world teeters on the edge of collapse."

And like that, the meeting concluded. Orders were signed. Fleet preparations began.

As I returned to my warship, the Shock Lion, the weight of the mission ahead settled on me. The gears of fate had started to turn.

And I—Monkey D. Gojo—could already see where this path would lead.

> "The Marshal will fall…

Admiral Zero and Yamamoto may not return either…

And from the ashes, Kong will rise as the new Marshal.

Sengoku, Zefa… and I—will become the new Admirals.

The future is starting to unfold."

With war looming and the seas growing darker, I stood at the bow of my ship, wind in my coat, determination in my veins.

It was time to battle the Emperors.
