The sunlight streaming in through the windows was Dorian's alarm. Rousing and started to sit up but stilled almost instantly, feeling the light pressure of Nemia's head against his chest. Blinking a few time to clear his blurred eyes, he glanced down. Her hand draped across his stomach and curved up to the tip of her nose.
His arm was wrapped around her, and partially numb but it didn't bother him. Coming to the conclusion that he more than likely held onto her the entire time he slept. Which honestly probably wasn't but three hours. Their night being the most blissfully, eventful one in his entire life time.
His heart sputtered in his chest. His arm flexing instinctively, possessively.
"My mate." He thought to himself, not wanting to disturb her slumber with sounds other than breathing.
His mind flashing back to the moment she told him to claim her. His beast was at the forefront at the time, had growled his approval. The moment his teeth sank in and his member. Their bond snapping into place and her emotions flooded his senses.
He had felt overwhelmed by it, but if he could go back to that first moment again... He most definitely would. It was everything he'd expected and more. The heat and passion coiling inside, his beast howling in triumph in his mind. The taste and feel of her. How their minds, body and soul melted into one another. Nothing could ever be too close, in that moment or any other moment for the rest of time.
He'd been worried he would hurt her, or that she may even wake up regretting her decisions.
But she was his now, their bond was complete and his body hummed in reverenced joy. He'd made sure that she understood how much of her was his.
Their movement to the bed last night, he left nothing untouched. Kissing, touching.. claiming every last inch of her skin as his own. He was slow, careful until she was begging him to finish her.
His member throbbed at the thoughts, but pushed his desires down as he glanced down at her sleeping face on his chest. Her lips quivered slightly, then turned into a soft smile while she slept and he wondered what dream she was having to cause it. Feeling a sudden jealousy of something other than him causing that innocent, beautiful smile on his woman.
Then, he realized his other hand has moved up to wrap around the arm the had tucked up to her nose. His thumb had been brushing slow, soft circles and she was responding to it even in her sleep. Just more honest, nothing hidden behind her nerves.
"Dorian, please for the love of the gods be awake already or wake up!" Nik's voice cut into his mind via mindlink.
Dorian frowned. "What is it?" He responded back, adding the gruffness to his minds voice.
"Thank the gods. Lillian's her early and I couldn't stop her." Before Nik had even finished, a loud, impatient knock sounded on the door.
"Great." He grumbled softly both in mind back to Nik and also aloud.
Nemia stirred the minute the knock intruded the silence in the room. Her eyes popping open and locking onto the door. Stiffening against his chest.
"Give us a minute, Lillian!" Dorian stated loudly, huffing softly.
Nemia moved to draw her eyes to him in question. "Your sister?..." Her eyes widened slightly, like a deer in headlights, at the realization. Watching her as she glanced down at the bed, lefting the cover to reveal their nakedness only to drop it again and groan as a rosy pink hue spread across her cheeks.
"Hurry up, will ya?!" Lillian's voice came through the door.
"Nope, not meeting like this." Nemia was up without another word, flashing over to the bags that still layed in the center of the bedroom.
Dorian chuckled softly at her then threw the covers off himself and stood, stretching before he moved to his dresser. Dawning jeans and a white t-shirt. Grabbing a pair of black socks out out the top drawer.
Watching Nemia as she rummaged through the bags, kicking the first one to the side then moved the other to the bed to empty its contents. Propping against the dresser, watching her dress herself silently.
A black laced bra with the panties to match. 'God's if my sister wasn't on the other side of that door.' He thought to himself as his member attempted a salute but was stuck in the confines of his jeans.
Next, a pair of black leggings that hugged every one of her curves. Another flair of jealousy blossomed in his chest. He chuckled, and shook his head. Her eyes snapping to his as he did so, confusion evident on her features.
"Why are you laughing? Don't laugh at me or my clothes. It's all I have right now... Not funny." She muttered, her brows drawing together on him.
He shook his head, walking over to her as she slid into a blue tank top that clung to her skin as if it were just another tight layer. "Not laughing at you, laughing at me. Being jealous over your clothes for hugging your curves the way I want to." His hand snagged her waist and pulled her against him.
Her brows smoothed then and her lips parted in shock or astonishment. Maybe even both. Then, a smile spread across her face and she let out a small laugh.
"Calm down, your sister is only divided from us by a door." She teased, patting his chest softly. Her emerald eyes twinkling with desire that she stuffed down near flawlessly.
He chuckled again. "That's the only reason you're not on your back again already." He teased back, leaning down to plant a kiss on her lips. Her responsive melting arose his beastly growl.
"I will come in there." Lillian spoke through the door again, impatience thickening her tone.
Dorian sighed as Nemia pushed him away softly with a laugh. "Alright, alright. You can come in now anyway." He said loud enough for Lillian to hear with ease, though she would have heard him even if he'd whispered.
The door swung open then, revealing his sister on the other side.
Lillian's hair was longer then when he's seen her last, though that didn't mean much considering it'd been about fifteen years since she last stopped by. Her eyes identical to his, as if looking in a mirror at the female version of himself.
She was almost as tall as him as well and had a slender, toned build to her. Dressed in all black as she always had, he chuckled. "Phenius hasn't been able to add color to your wardrobe yet I see."
"That's not true, the wedding had blue in it." She shrugged, a smile cracking her intially impatient face.
"Oh yeah, I forgot about that one time." He chuckled again, shaking his head before reaching for Nemia's hand as he stepped towards Lillian.
"Lillian, meet Nemia. My mate." My life. He added in thought. "Nemia," he turned his head down to her. "My sister, Lillian. A real pain in the ass." He added with a chuckle that warranted a smack from his sister on the shoulder.
Nemia laughed, though he could hear her nerves constricting the sound slightly. She reached her hand out to offer it to his sister.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Lillian. Dorian's told me a bit about you." Her voice was softer than usual, Dorian noticed.
"Relax Nemia, it's okay to be yourself." He muttered through their mindlink to Nemia, his mind brushing across her softly to comfort her, in hopes of quelling her nerves.
Nemia's eyes flickered to his, a light smile toying at the edges of her lips. A gentle squeeze of her hand against his, she looked back to Lillian.
"Well that makes one of us, at least." Lillian mused in a huff and looked at Dorian pointedly, resting a hand on her hip. Then cracked another smile. "It's okay though, I'm just glad your here in general. Now come here." She moved and wrapped her arms around the both of them. Hugging them tightly together.
Dorian laughed softly and wrapped his free arm around Lillian. "I've missed you, sister." He muttered gently.
"And I, you, brother." She replied on a sigh.
Nemia was slightly stiff, though he noticed she did hug Lillian back and smiled.
They pulled away shortly after with one last big squeeze from Lillian before letting them go.
"Now, are you ready to meet your two youngest nephews?" She asked Dorian but glanced to Nemia and smiled at her. "Meaning you too, your family now and I've always wanted a sister."
Nemia's lips twitched. "I'd love to meet them."
"Most definitely." Dorian added softly, his heart swelling. He was finally going to meet some of his sisters kids. It was always too dangerous before, but now that he's a mated man? His rage is forever controlled, his eyes slid down to Nemia. Unless it's invoked from someone attempting to harm her, then no man or creature in this universe would be able to quell his rage.
Lillian grabbed their free hands and pulled them out of the bedroom with a bright smile lighting her eyes. "Let's go then!"
