Entering the shop, Di Tou was surprised to see that it was not at all like he had expected. Being a fresh materials shop, Di Tou had figured that even if it wasn't anything like modern refrigeration, there would still be a number of cooling formations or something along those lines, but that was not the case at all! At the very least for the first floor almost everything looked dried or cured and was displayed out in the open.
But after thinking about it for a moment, Di Tou realised that this made sense. After all, this was just how most ingredients were treated in this era! Even if there was such a thing as refigeration in the form of cooling formations, one couldn't expect the cultivators who had slain the beast, as well as the merchants or any intermediaries who had dealt with the material to also have cooling formations, right?
