Still, although Di Tou noticed the 'imperfections' by normal standards it wasn't something that could be detected at all. It was far too small to measure by a ruler or by eye, and could only be measured with the sharp instincts of an expert, or someone with a precise device.
Di Tou had indeed done a decent job in the past, it was just that his current standard… well, his current method of evaluation was far too high, and made the flaws far more obvious then they ever would be.
Once he was done sweeping the street as well as the little courtyard attached to Mu Di Bai's home, Di Tou scratched his head and thought for a moment before deciding to add a few more steps this time. After all, although he could come to the Academy to 'visit' and look for Mu Di Bai, it was indeed quite likely that Mu Di Bai wouldn't be around, or that Di Tou would 'just' miss him.
