If the fire was still burning outwards, it was very possible that sooner or later all the moon chunks in this entire world would be burnt up, leaving only the one kept safely by the moonlit platform!
That being the case, there really would be no more eastward expedition, as there would be nothing left to explore! Feeling a slight pit in his stomach, Di Tou could only hope that whatever the fire was doing, and whether or not it was still raging on somewhere, the changes it brought would only be positive and not take away or destroy what little hope he had left.
As much as Di Tou was tempted to continue travelling outward right now to travel and find a moon chunk or the fire burning somewhere, Di Tou took a breath and calmed himself and decided to return to the moonlit platform first to finish exploring there before chasing the fire which could be millions of kilometers out by now.
