"SHUT UP!" Aaron ordered angrily.
"Wait, were you waiting for some kind of miracle about us?" Aaron asked, as he burst into a laughter.
"It's only a matter of days before I throw you out of my life for good this time, the last time Grandpa stopped me but this time no one will." Aaron promised.
"Aaron I'm your wife, how can you treat me like dirt, you said you loved me.'' Samira said as tears dropped from her eyes.
"Will you stop your fake tears, we all both knew that we were only together so as to rob Diana off her wealth.''
"I've never loved you; I had to leave the one I truly love because of you and your stupid pregnancy that you used to tie me down." He scoffed.
"So, you're trying to say that all this while we've been married you were still in love with Diana." Samira said as she couldn't believe that came out from her mouth.
"Was I speaking gibberish until now?" He asked sarcastically.
"But now my chances have been ruined, she's given birth to Ethan's child." Aaron groaned in annoyance.
"Wait! What?'' Samira exclaimed.
"Yes, we all saw her at the engagement with her son." Aaron stated.
''But how? How did she meet up with Ethan, even talk less of birthing his child?" Samira questioned.
"I think she got hooked up with the wrong person that night, leading her to meet Ethan." He explained.
"That means Grandfather...what did Grandfather say?" Samira asked.
"Well, we might be lucky this time because Grandpa doesn't like her." Aaron said as he let out a sigh.

THE NEXT DAY:
Diana headed for the office first thing the next morning to submit her resignation letter. When she got to the sterling group the way people looked at her was different from the way they did before. Diana noticed but just shrug it off all she wanted was to submit the letter and leave immediately.
Diana got to the top floor where she met Oscar standing outside. She had informed him earlier about her visit, so Oscar wasn't so surprised to see her.
"Mrs. Sterling, you arrived quite early." Oscar said as he greeted her in a respectful manner.
"Oscar, you don't have to call me by Mrs. sterling just because the truth is out, I prefer Miss peters." Diana stated as Oscar nodded in embarrassment.
"Is Mr. sterling inside?" She asked as Oscar nodded.
"Can you please excuse us?" She said as Oscar bowed and left.
Diana took a deep breath before she opened the door. Ethan was seated on his chair, going through some documents when the door suddenly opened.
"Oscar, I told you not to disturb me." He said without looking up from what he was doing.
"It's me Miss peters." Diana said as Ethan immediately looked up.
"It's you? what are you doing here? Do you need anything?" He asked getting up to his feet.
"I came to give you this." She said as she brought out the envelope from her bag.
"What's this?" Ethan asked, confused.
"My resignation letter."
