The vice principal took his handkerchief and wiped the sweat on his forehead She sat in the cafeteria table, surrounded by people yet she had furrowed brows, frustrated eyes, unable to utter a word, unable to communicate as the feeling of helplessness and loneliness spread. It had been 9 years since that day, when I met my deaf classmate. All of my memories from then has blurred but the utter struggle in her expression and movement are engraved in my mind.
