Auralithia was stunned, her eyes were locked on Sendra's belly as she realised that Sendra was pregnant. "She has a baby in her belly. But I thought she was just fat. Whose child is it?"
The fairy continued marching towards the Eldorwyn tree. I could see the majestic tree reaching the sky, releasing overwhelming mana around the space. Many tiny fairies fly across the tree, leaving tails of multiple hues behind them, which soon vanish as they proceed forward.
"It's so beautiful, isn't it?" I was fascinated by the breathtaking view of the Eldorwyn tree.
"Yes, it is, but compared to you, my Xzson, this tree is like a plant of an ordinary guardian," Sendra said with a flirtatious yet sweet voice. For her, nothing is more beautiful than me.
I glanced at her with a smile. "It's ironic to listen to sweet talk from an Ice queen, but I love to listen to your words."
Sendra approached me as she hugged me around the neck and whispered. "I love to listen to your voice too, and it would be better if only I could."
"You know that's not possible. Rose, Luna, and Rani share with you. If you take me away, they will surely come after me."
Sendra frowned upon hearing the names. With a stern voice, she said. "Why did you bring them now, when we finally have time alone?"
She is right, Sendra and we didn't get much alone time compared to others. We had barely any alone moments together.
"Xzson, please accept my request, don't bring them now. I don't want you to think about the other woman while I'm here with you. It's very unpleasant."
I shrugged my shoulders and let out a tired sigh. "Okay, I won't think about them. I will only think about you."
"That's what I wanted, my Xzson." Sendra leaned towards me, she moved her face closer to mine, and gently kissed my cheeks.
"She is a demigod, ice queen of the north, one of the strongest entities on this continent, and yet she acts like a child?"
Auralithia took a glimpse of our flirtatious act. A twitching, uncomfortable sense exploded in her heart toward us like that. Jealousy overflowed as she clenched her fist.
"That woman, she is an ice queen. I heard about her from our previous queen that she was the overlord of the ancient realm. She used to rule there, and everyone there feared her power, they were overly loyal towards her. It's because of her beauty. No wonder the hero chose her as her woman." Auralithia continue to take a glimpse of us from her comfort cart, being raised by the fairies.
I notice her gaze. However, she turned around in time before our eyes could meet. "What is she thinking? I need to be cautious here, from the fairy eater demon and her."
As we reached the entrance of the Eldorwyn tree and Fairy's home, many of them immediately came forward and greeted us.
"Our queen is back."
"And look at those gaint creatures. Mortal has come towards our home."
I heard their whisper as they referred to us as gaint creatures. I chuckle, looking at them, I notice almost all of them were female. Each of them was beautiful. There was a handful of males among them, protected by a guard.
"As expected, the gender ratio is low for males compared to females. The guards usually protect males, and their only purpose is to breed to sustain offspring."
Auralithia get up from her comfort ride. Guards and her people immediately surrounded her.
"Queen, welcome back. We are waiting for you!"
Auralithia turned to the person who welcomed her and saw a young male fairy in armour, who was kneeling while several other fairies joined him.
"Zenda, I'm glad that you and my subjects were okay. Has the demon played any dirty tricks or attacked our home?"
"No, my queen. There has been no movement from the demon. We suspect they are planning something bigger this time." Zenda was a nobleman with black hair and transparent wings behind him. He composed his demeanour and glanced at me before returning to Auralithia.
"This is the greater hero, Xzson."
