*REMINDER*
THIS STORY IS ONLY A FANTASY. EVERY GOD AND RELIGIOUS ARE NOT RELATED TO THE REAL LIFE. ABSOLUTELY NOT REAL.
Fourteen billion years ago, the vast universe that we know of now, was nothing but null. There was no space, no time, nothing. It was just pitch black void. But slightly after, a singularity was formed in the void. The singularity, an initial state of a high density and temperature, began to expand rapidly, creating the Big Bang. The Big Bang caused a broad range of phenomena, including the abundance of light elements, the cosmic microwave background radiation, and large-scale structure. As the universe expanded, it cooled down. It did not took lokng for the first elements to be created. Hydrogen, helium, and lithium. Those are the first elements to exist in the universe.
At first, the universe was bright due to the glowing sea of particles. But it became dark, as atoms formed and there was no star to light the vast universe up. Until the gas began to slowly clump together due to the gravity, and the first star was formed around 100 million years later. Long after, stars began to gathered into clusters because of the gravity, pulled them into a galaxy. And billions of years later, leftover gas and dusts formed disks. Particles stuck together, forming planets, moons, and even asteroids. That is the recorded history of the vast universe written by mankind. But that... Is just what humanity have found out. The truth, is much greater than that...
The occurance that happened fourteen billion years ago, was not consist of one singularity only. There were also many other singularities such as this. And each of them also went through the same process and expansion. Creating other universes such as this one. Creating... The multiverse. All of this, were caused by the ignorance of the gods.
Around a million years ago, the multiverses are all divided like a piece of land to be owned by the most powerful beings– by the gods. Some got hold of one universe only, but there were also those who got to hold two or more due to them being on a higher level– higher power than the others. This created an order so that the multiverses will stay peaceful. Every gods were satisfied with what they owned.
But not for long... Though with universes in hand, there were gods who were greedy for more universe. They were not satisfied enough with what they have. They want more. More universe in hand means more powerful one is. That is... What they have in mind.
Through that, a great war between gods of the multiverses, occurred terribly. The war caused many universes to be sacrificed, perished to nothingness as the effects of the war. Gods by gods were killed. Because of that, the order have shattered. Nobody even care about the order anymore. And yet, the gods were still going on wars but not on the multiverse. They brought the war into the void. And sometimes, they even brought the war into the dark side of the multiverse, to avoid destroying more universe.
The war keeps going on for thousand of years. Some of them even created an alliance with the enemy's universe at stake. Some even got stabbed in the back by their own alliance. And some just waiting for opportunity to strike and grabs everything for themselves. But one thing that they overlooked that will bring them to their fall. The mortals, the creatures of the universes.
Those creatures, became the victims of the war. Some of them had to fled their home planet to find another because theirs were destroyed. Some even got to find ways to fled their own universes to save themselves. And some didn't even got the chance to fled. And died.
Those reasons make many of them rage. Consumed in anger and vengeance towards the chaotic gods. They tried to cursed at the gods but was ignored. They tried to attack the gods by throwing rocks but far from hitting them. They tried to blame everything on the gods but nothing happened. Not until, a group of men from six different universe stand up for them all.
With a total of a hundred of powerful men with various kind of creatures from different planets and universes, they stood up against the gods. They fought bravely against the gods with the hope of getting them to stop the never-ending war. Fought and fought, some of them got heavily injured. And some of them even died as a hero in the battlefield. But the result was, total victory... To the creatures. The gods became afraid to make moves on them as their leader held high one of the most powerful god's head and yelled at the gods to stop the war and back to their own territories. Enough is enough.
With that, all gods, whether they were injured or fine, participated in the war or not, all retreated to their own territories, afraid to rebel or continue the war. With that, the peace have returned to the multiverse yet again.
The creatures– the heroes of the multiverses also returned to their home. From the total of a hundred that went to the battle, only thirty-three that managed to came back alive. The sacrificed's family members were told of how their hero died heroicly on the battlefield without even a slight ounce of fear. It was so the family members didn't felt so sad after losing them. For those who don't have a family, they were given a medal of honor on their tombs as a respect and appreciation for their battle.
Not long after, the heroes came together again, regroup. The leader wanted to discuss of an important issue to the remaining ones. He knew that the peace can only hold for so long. If one day, they all gone, and nobody to hold the peace, the gods might start another war for the multiverses. So they have to plan of something to make sure that particular event won't happen again. They decided to created an organization, that slays the things that bring destructions and total chaos to the multiverses. Anything that bring destruction including gods will be slain by the organization. They called the organization as...
"The Slayers".
