Neito was satisfied with how the quirk combination was going. The Iron Might armor based on All Might was working well, but Nezu could tell Neito was ready for the next step. It was time to show him just how much further he could push his potential.
"Neito-kun," Nezu began, his tone casual, "the Iron Might armor is good, but you can do so much more by combining quirks in different ways. There's power waiting to be unlocked if you start mixing things up."
Nezu pulled out his phone and showed Neito the screen. "Take this one," he said, swiping to a quirk Neito had been checking earlier: Dark Shadow.
"It's strong in the dark but weak in light," Nezu explained. "But now, let's add this into the mix."
He swiped again to show Black, another quirk Neito had been considering.
"Black lets you move through shadows. You basically become part of the darkness. So, what happens when you combine these two?"
Neito thought about it for a moment. "Well, if I combined them, Dark Shadow would always have a steady, unlimited supply of darkness to pull from, no matter where I am. Since Black lets me move through shadows, I'd have full control over Dark Shadow, and it could stretch out wherever there's darkness."
Nezu nodded. "Exactly. That's one powerful combo. But there's more. Imagine combining Double with Ectoplasm. You'd have a swarm of clones, all under your control."
Neito's expression shifted as he considered the idea. Nezu continued with the next combination. "Or think about Stress and Emotion. You could control your emotions completely, and then use them to generate power—endless power from the feelings you have."
Neito stayed quiet, running through the ideas in his mind. Nezu wasn't just throwing out random combinations—he was showing Neito the kind of power that could really be unlocked.
After a short pause, Nezu asked another question. "Now, Neito-kun, if there was a quirk that stockpiled energy over generations, what do you think would happen if you copied it?"
Neito frowned. "It would be useless, like Fat's quirk. I could copy it, but without the stored energy, it wouldn't do anything."
Nezu's smile grew a little. "Exactly. But what if you combined it with something like Luminosity?"
Neito raised an eyebrow. "Luminosity? That's the quirk that stores sunlight, right?"
Nezu nodded. "Yes. If you combined a stockpiling quirk with Luminosity, you wouldn't need to wait for energy to build up over generations. Instead, you could use sunlight to power it right away."
Neito's expression brightened as he understood. "So, with Luminosity, I could use sunlight to fuel a stockpiling quirk, and I wouldn't need to wait years to store energy. I could use it immediately."
"Exactly," Nezu confirmed. "That's the idea."
Nezu then reached into his pocket and pulled out two strands of hair—one black and one blonde—and handed them to Neito.
"Here," Nezu said, a little more serious now. "The black strand is from a Luminosity quirk. The blonde one…" Nezu's tone shifted slightly, "...belongs to someone with the strongest stockpiling quirk we know. Try combining them."
Neito looked down at the strands in his hand. He understood now—Nezu wasn't just experimenting with quirk combinations anymore. He was trying to push Neito to the next level.
Nezu wasn't just teaching him how to make his Copy quirk better—he was preparing him for something bigger.
Neito glanced at the blonde hair and then back at Nezu. He realized who it belonged to. All Might. And All Might had One For All.
One For All had a huge restriction: it could only be passed on willingly. The user had to give it up for it to transfer. But Neito's Copy quirk didn't work like that.
Neito didn't need permission. He could copy One For All as soon as he touched that blonde strand of hair.
Neito remembered the original Neito, how he had copied One For All from Izuku Midoriya. It showed just how powerful Neito's Copy quirk was.
"I can do this," Neito thought.
He reached out and touched the blonde strand. As soon as his fingers made contact, the power of One For All surged through him. It was unlike anything he'd ever felt—raw, powerful, and completely unrestrained.
A smile spread across his face. He'd done it. He'd copied One For All—but without all the history or responsibility attached to it. No pressure, just pure, untapped power.
"No downsides," Neito thought, feeling the energy hum inside him. "Just power."
Nezu watched him with a knowing look. "You've done it, Neito-kun. You've copied it, this stockpiling quirk is known as One For All and it belongs to All Might. Now try copying Luminosity too. There's still a lot more to cover."
Neito at first looked shocked, like he couldn't believe this was All Might's quirk, then he nodded, and the two shared a brief, understanding look. They didn't need to say much—both of them knew that Neito was on the verge of something huge with All Might's quirk copied.
Nezu wasn't just helping him get better at using his Copy quirk—he was setting the stage for something greater. Neito wasn't just going to be powerful—he was going to be a monster of UA.
