"Is there anything useful in the bag?" Maria asked Tony
Tony just chuckled " a whole lot of blueberries, some string and seven potions."
Maria was now sounding hopeful "are any the potions helpful right now."
"He has two healing, invisibility and power boosting potions and something rainbow? We'll just take the power boosting ones and join in." Tony said tossing Maria a blue potion
After drinking the blue liquid they both felt their energy quickly recharging nearly filling them up. "This is amazing I got to learn how to make these it's very handy." Tony said surprised.
"You can ask him all about it later for now let's just provide support." Maria said as they both headed to where the others where.
Rex was using her sharpened feathers to claw the crow back. While grey was running in between it's legs slicing them up.
Cocoa finally got close enough to grab the crow and with one bone paw holding its neck he used the other to slowly rip off its wing letting out loud tearing and screaming sounds everyone just stood back watching this display of raw power.
The big bear just let out a roar before sinking his fangs into the boss. He only resisted for a for seconds before his body shriveled up into a dried corpse.
Grey just dropped to the ground dramatically to catch his breath "well now that it's finally let's find something to eat I'm starving. Wait do skeletons even eat?"
Cocoa just stared with her lifeless eye socket
"We feed on the energy of death that living things release when they die."
Tony come from behind the group "so that's why there was so much dark mist near you while we were fighting, we might of accidentally caused your evolution."
Cocoa just nodded. Golo came leaning on her bones "we are all exhausted but the smell will attract others so if you want some meat take it and go. We will meet up in 2 full moon cycles at golden fangs forest. Hey coco can you give me a ride home?"
"S-sure i don't mind or anything just think nothing of it." Cocoa said for first time adding emotion into it.
Everyone was shocked the emotionless killing machine was now acting like a shy little girl for golo of all people.
"I thought you guys weren't really that close only slightly know other?" Tony questioned.
"Yeah we only meet during of tribes peace meetings but we only talked then a few times every meeting." Golo was confused
Rex stepped in finally normal sized. "Kid what do you think friends are exactly?"
Golo was confused why everyone was suddenly questioning him "hmm, I guess folks you feel are as close to family or someone you love? I think"
Everybody else just slapped their forehead while Maria helped the now pouting skeleton. "It's ok all guys are idiotic no matter the species. We believe in you just follow your… ghostly heart?"
The girls all started chatting and excluding the guys. "How can a goblin be this dense." Grey said sounding jealous.
"Yeah it's Always the handsome dumb ones" Tony said more pissed than jealous.
"Ooh, if you dense it's because I work out like crazy my Ogre uncle says muscles are all you need to truly thrive." Golo said whilst flexing his arms.
Tony turned to grey "So those to are heading to the goblin tribe, Maria will be starting a hive somewhere, Rex will probably go out looking for another fight, I'm heading home what about you grey your the only one I've yet to fully understand."
"I'm heading north to the hills of endless mist, for a deal I made to save my burrow from a fox raid in 3-4 moon cycles. But I have some on the inside helping me."
"You need help just ask, you did a great job bringing the boss to the ground after all." Golo said still flexing.
"Sure we can use all the help I can get. We already lost the fourteenth burrow to an attack." Grey said no longer smiling.
"We can all follow you home in two moon cycles when we all meet up again."
"That's a great idea and all but by then we will all be tier three or four beast, while the two of you are tier one you need to at least be on even footing to demand help at the very least so power quickly little bud I believe in you."
Golo said while ruffling greys fur.
"If you want you can stay in my cave for the night it is in the north direction. Just don't mind my Roomate he is a very optimistic spider for some reason."
"A spider and a toad sharing a cave, that's a unique situation you got." Golo said.
"It kinda just happened we both are not great fighters and got kicked out for it. And since we both eat insects we decided to coexist. He scares off predators with his looks and I kill the nearby bugs and cook for us."
"That reminds grey do you know how to make potions because I would love to learn how to." Tony said excitedly.
"No… but I believe my mom is a great alchemist despite only being tier three."
"Then if I help you save your home do you think she will teach me." Tony said with hopeful eyes.
"Should definitely teach you even if you don't because she loves teaching alchemy even if it tastes worse than pizza. Also I need Maria to fully heal me I'm not fully ready to travel far yet." Grey was obviously still exhausted and banged up.
"Oh my lightning has healing properties but for some reason it's very effective on some folk more than others I'm still researching it myself." Tony said as he placed a hand on grey sending a huge golden shock into his body.
Grey was expecting it to hurt but it felt strangely pleasant. "OooOOOooo. What kind of lighting heals and is golden.
"Dunno but it is useful. just take a nap I'll take you to my home and you can head out in the morning."
Grey just nodded and layed down slowly drifting off.
Golo said smiled "poor guy he might be the weakest here but he did do the most. Tony take good care of him and make sure he gets plenty of sleep.
"Sure thing, HEY REX COME HERE!" Tony yelled
All the girls stopped gossiping and looked towards the boys. They let out a collective sigh as they came as a group.
"Can you please help me carry grey to my home. I have plenty of food to pay you back for your assistance."
"Sure thing, I'll also guard you kids until morning and head out." She said as she gently placed the sleeping grey on her back.
"Let's go now, see you all in a bit." golo said hopping on cocoa's back turning her skull face slightly pink.
