Chapter 12 - Chapter 12 : Secret

Victor woke up the next morning with a terrible headache. The disproportionate use of his spiritual sense had quite exhausted him. However, being able to throw himself onto the bed at the last moment had at least prevented cramps and pain in his body. He could be thankful for that. The last time had been awful.

Victor slowly rose, holding his head, and drank a few glasses of water. He wasn't in a state to stand for long, so he sat down again and rubbed his temples. He started to massage his head himself. After a few minutes, he felt a little better and his dizziness lessened.

He got up again and started to make himself some food. He hadn't eaten dinner the previous night because he had suddenly fainted, and his stomach had already started to rumble. He prepared his meal in the same proportion and finished it with quick bites until he was full. He wouldn't mistreat himself, especially since he had just started his development; starving his body was illogical. Especially for bloodline development, while his blood needed to be vibrant and strong, he had to pay extra attention to the food he ate. However, his hands were tied in this regard. All he could do was listen to his body and fill himself up.

When Victor was full, he remembered the event that had caused him to faint yesterday. He stretched a few times, sat on the bed, and began to check the boat in the blood seed space.

When he used his spiritual sense again, he suddenly felt bewildered. His spiritual sense had increased considerably compared to yesterday and had become even more concentrated. While the old one was like wood, the new one was like metal, denser and stronger. Although he still couldn't fully affect things outside his body, there was a hint of being able to extend it outwards. Victor wasn't disappointed that it didn't extend outwards; on the contrary, he was happy.

This showed that if his spiritual sense fully concentrated when he reached the primal body, he would have a much stronger spiritual sense than others. This was because this concentration and hardening had strengthened the foundation of his spiritual sense from the very beginning. The strength of the foundation was one of the most important things in everything. To build tall buildings, the foundation must be solid first, and yesterday's tempering had greatly strengthened the foundation of his spiritual sense in this regard.

Victor refocused his attention on the boat in the seed space and directed his spiritual sense towards it. This time, when his spiritual sense touched the boat, the feeling of connection was much stronger. The feeling that the connection would break at any moment was gone. However, it wasn't a complete feeling of ownership either; only the purification of a small part, like a preliminary purification, had been completed.

While Victor felt the connection, he suddenly felt a strange flow of information from the boat into his mind. However, this flow of information was not like the one at the elder's house; it was more like a direct transmission. But there was a difference according to that information transmission.

This flow of information was not a whole; it was fragmented. These fragments were in the form of mental communication that he could understand. Otherwise, he might have needed language support. Victor waited for a while for the information transmission to complete. What followed was even more arduous because it was necessary to organize these pieces of information and find something useful.

Therefore, Victor spent a considerable amount of time trying to form a meaningful whole from the pieces of information. He wasn't expecting a completely meaningful whole, but he was at least hoping for some useful small pieces of information. After much effort with these fragments, he finally managed to find some useful information and took a relieved breath, starting to check the information.

According to the fragmented information here, the structure of space in the universe was quite similar to onion layers. However, to sense these layers, it was necessary to reach certain energy levels or have a special perception. Apart from that, rare things like strange treasures, some strange techniques, some fruits could also help to sense these layers, but these things were very rare and valuable. The energy level here mostly represented the living level of living beings.

Space layers also cannot be evaluated like normal surface layers. It is not possible to walk on them; in fact, most space layers do not even have a physical structure. However, these layers can only be felt under certain conditions everywhere in the universe. Passing through these layers and being there is much more difficult than sensing them. Even the first condition is to be strong enough to survive in the conditions of that layer.

These space layers are not completely empty structures either. In some places, there might be areas where creatures adapted to that layer lived. In some places, there might only be places where a treasure that can only be produced in that layer exists. There might even be treasures left by powerful individuals who reached that layer when they died...

Apart from all this, there might also be areas in those layers where space winds, vacuum areas, and many strange events unknown to anyone occur. So these areas are very high in both opportunity and danger.

Powerful individuals can also artificially open their own domains in these space layers. They can continue their lives in these domains. They can encourage many things to reproduce under the conditions there. They can also use these domains to hunt for treasure or hunt the creatures found there. However, if these domains are stable enough, they can continue to exist even after the death of these powerful individuals and can benefit those who find them later. So the possibilities are endless. Wealth or danger is never lacking in these areas.

Individuals who cannot open these domains but have the power to enter them can enter these layers to hunt for treasure or do other things; the options are endless, the only limitation is whether real power is sufficient. Or whether they have treasures that can enter these areas, that is, whether they are rich enough. Although wealth is not omnipotent, it is an undeniable fact in all worlds that it is capable of many things.

While continuing to check the information, Victor paused for a moment and felt strange, as if he had learned something he shouldn't have known. Because according to this information, under normal circumstances, to even sense the first layer, his living level had to be at the peak of the 3rd level and half a step into the 4th level. According to the development status on this planet, this level had to be the peak of extreme blood. In fact, even at that level, it was impossible to move to the fourth level of life without sensing the first layer with special techniques and absorbing the purer form of dark energy from there.

Victor also felt quite strange because of this. No human on this planet had ever passed the extreme blood state and stepped into a new level, and this was like a shackle for these people. However, a novice like him, who had just stepped onto the extraordinary path, had learned how to remove that shackle in the very first step. Perhaps if someone from the city government learned this, they would do everything in their power to learn it through torture, and Victor had no doubt about that.

The boat in the seed space, in its most powerful state, could sense all these space layers and take its user on a journey in all layers as it wished, and even travel in the infinite chaos outside all universe layers. However, it is very clear that this power cannot be used in its current state.

The question of how much power the boat has left is a separate question. Besides this, Victor wonders how such a powerful treasure became so damaged. What kind of being or thing could damage such a powerful treasure? However, it is clear that this question will remain unanswered.

The only remaining power at the moment is to be able to see a very small part of the space layer closest to his living level and, if he can see something there, to be able to extract it from the layer.

However, there are also many restrictions on using this power. This object must be small enough that Victor's energy reserves can extract it. Also, everything here revolves around the boat, and when it locks onto an object, it creates a dark energy hook. However, if he tries to extract something he shouldn't be dealing with in this way, Victor's soul could also be injured, and soul injuries are generally known to be the most difficult to heal.

So control is very important here. The biggest advantage of the boat is sufficient secrecy. If a treasure guarded by a monster in that space layer is accidentally encountered, that treasure can end up in Victor's pocket without the monster's soul hearing it. However, the prerequisite for all this is to actually find something in the infinite space layer.

Victor couldn't find anything in this information about the total number of layers, but that wasn't what he needed to think about right now. Even the current function of the boat already represented a very big opportunity for him. Even if the boat were in its best condition, it probably wouldn't be able to provide enough energy to move him even a millimeter with his small arms and legs.

Its current state could even be considered its best state for him. However, if he could, he would of course try to repair the boat and reach its true power, but these were very distant matters for him right now. While the real benefit was in front of him, he needed to focus on the real benefit before him, not on an uncertain future benefit. What came after were things he needed to think about when he became stronger.

Victor now wanted to try and see if he was lucky enough. After all, when glancing at something that was an infinite void and perhaps contained something in a very small part of that void in total, being lucky enough seemed like the biggest priority. The only problem he needed to think about right now was whether he was really lucky enough. But he felt that his luck wasn't bad; after all, he was someone living his second life. After all, how many people could live a new life after dying like him? His luck shouldn't be bad, right?

While Victor was in these thoughts, he couldn't help but imagine for a moment that he had found treasures in the future, that he ruled the planet, that there were servant girls massaging his arms to his right and left, and another servant putting grapes in his mouth. However, after a few seconds, he laughed at himself and brushed his exaggerated thoughts aside. While it couldn't even be said that he had fully stepped onto the extraordinary path, these dreams should have been much further away for him. However, the boat had greatly increased his self-confidence and made him feel more confident about his future.

When he focused on the boat and activated it, his eyes began to take on the pale black color of the boat. Afterwards, it was as if the space he was in became wavy and slowly became transparent, revealing another layer. However, only a very small part of this layer was within his field of vision. In that range, he couldn't see anything other than what seemed like an infinite void.

This transparent layer and the void he saw were enough to fascinate him. Many things he had seen in this life were things he would have dismissed as nonsense in his past life, things he would have denied. For this reason, he continued to be amazed every time, because every time he instinctively continued to think as Victor, a normal human from his past life.

However, that prejudice and perspective were perhaps slowly changing with every event he experienced, and he was beginning to adapt to this reality. Perhaps he had no choice but to change and adapt. After all, life here didn't care about his feelings and thoughts. Life continued to flow in some way, with or without him...
