Instructor Steinfield stared at Jasmine in with a cold look on his face.
"Did you say that you would pay for the damages?", said Instructor Mary
Jasmine nodded her head.
"Yes I did, is that a problem?"
"Yes it is a problem", replied Instructor Steinfield. "He will not learn anything from this experience if you pay for the damages and I can't let that happen as a teacher."
Jasmine looked at me.
"I'm sure you've learned your lesson right?"
I immediately nodded my head.
"Yes I've absolutely learned my lesson, I promise to never do anything like that again."
'Although I didn't even do anything wrong, and you're making up all this up', I thought this in my mind.
Jasmine turned back to Instructor Steinfield and smiled at him.
"See, he's learned his lesson. I'm sure you can cut him some slack now."
"No I can't the most important reason is that it'll set a bad example if I let him go without any punishment", said Instructor Steinfield stubbornly.
