Looking at the long queue outside the photo studio, Charles really didn't want to wait. Of course, he could have used his Governor identity to cut the line, but that would be too demeaning.
Glancing around, he pointed at an old painter in front of an easel and said, "There are too many people over there. Let's just have him draw one for us instead."
Lily tilted her head in thought, and finally nodded in agreement. "Alright then."
The old painter, missing a front tooth, saw the potential business and became very excited. "Sir, rest assured, my paintings are more lifelike than photos, and they're cheaper too—only 100 Echo."
After inspecting his easel and brushes, Charles nodded and pushed Lily to the stool in front of them, gesturing for the painter to begin.
Unexpectedly, Lily suddenly ran over, pulled Charles to the stool, and sat him down, following by plopping herself onto his lap. "Old sir, you may begin now."
