*Yila muttered to himself as he submerged in the water, handling the swordfish of the Merfolk Leader.* He felt the swordfish's long snout all the way up to its head, commenting, *"A beautiful body like a shark's, with a weapon for piercing just like a sword."*
*It's worth mentioning that in Yila's understanding, the "swordfish" diet consisted of tuna, flying fish, squid, and most crustaceans. In other words... They ate small creatures.*
However, these swordfish appeared different; their mouths had an exceptionally unique structure that allowed them to open quite large... Using their "swords" to assassinate not-so-small prey and then easily slicing and swallowing them.
Perhaps swordfish really were bona fide hunters.
