[Chapter Size: 2000 Words.]
Third Person POV.
Beyond of the Wall.
...
...
The body of the man over 240 cm tall began to be lifted through a pole with him crucified, his hands once again tied, suspending the body nailed to the wood on the pole, while his back was opened like wings held by threads, and his belly was cut and empty, completely dead.
The men looked at it still with different expressions, most of them with some kind of horror, not understanding why that southerner had suffered such punishment from the Dragonborn.
At the same time, the rumors of those who heard Jon answering Tormund about the reason began to spread, with people saying that the man had killed Jon's brother when he was only two years old.
Jon was looking satisfied as he cleaned the blood from his hand with some cloths and a barrel of water he had taken from storage to sanitize himself, while he cast one last satisfied look at the body of the Mountain.
He had no doubt that the man could turn into a wight, due to the White Walkers needing a soul and imprisoning it to be able to use their necromancy magic, while the Mountain's body was lacking one now.
So, to him, it didn't really matter. He turned his gaze to his companions, who had not left the place, while Lucis and Daenerys were the most affected by the scene. They certainly didn't like violence, and Jon had been quite harsh, so he couldn't blame them for it.
He left the place while Tormund glanced over. Jon simply took a bottle of wine from his storage and threw it to the red-haired giant, who caught it immediately, looking at it.
"A gift, since I got a lot of these on this trip," Jon said.
He had his storage full of treasures, weapons, and expensive goods after looting several vaults. He robbed the Red Keep, robbed the brothels of King's Landing that belonged to Littlefinger, robbed House Tully and House Lannister after looting the Citadel. So he had tons of gold and all kinds of things inside his storage space, where it was possible to place everything that wasn't alive or didn't have a soul — that's why he couldn't put people or even corpses in there. But Jon was at this moment one of the richest men in Westeros and could take his things wherever he wanted.
"No way to complain about that, my friend. Thank you," Tormund said, opening a smile, seeing a good alcohol, better than anything he could drink beyond the Wall, tired of the fermented milk with alcohol produced there.
He then followed, stopping next to Mance, who looked at him cautiously.
"Let's talk tomorrow. Today I just want to rest and don't want to deal with anything else," Jon said.
While Mance nodded without saying anything, Jon returned to the girls.
"Let's go to the tent," he said, without saying another word as he walked ahead.
They looked at each other but followed him, while Jon found his wolf Ghost standing in the middle of the path.
"It's good to see you," Jon said, feeling a powerful connection between him and the wolf stronger than the one he had even with Winter, as if they had a blood bond due to the skinchanging link.
The wolf, which was twice the size of Grey Wind that he had seen next to Robb in Riverrun, slightly moved its head while making a small sound.
Jon then headed to the tent with Ghost and the four women following, while the crowd made way for them to pass, murmuring things all the time and greeting him.
Lucis's brother immediately came to approach him, while Jon asked him not to say anything and just ruffled his hair. "We'll talk tomorrow, I'll stay in my tent all day." He said, just wanting to relax.
The tent where he lived, being different from the command tent where he held meetings, was equally large, with a dozen giant wolves left around it. Jon just waved at them, having a warg connection with all of them, left Ghost to take care of them, and moved forward.
Jon entered the tent and found everything just as he had left it — filled with things from the south that he had brought, since he took them from Winterfell and even from Illyrio's mansion in Pentos. Cutlery, goblets, cups, wines, fruits could still be seen around the place, this one and even Mance's tent filled with such things, since Jon had gifted Della with some things because of the baby.
"Jon… did he really kill your brother?" Ygritte asked, breaking the silence, while Jon walked to the center of the place.
"Yes. Aegon was just a baby. That bastard smashed him against the wall. Then, he abused the mother. That woman was married to my father first," Jon said, observing the place as if studying it, while everyone there was confused by his behavior.
"What happened in the south, Jon?" Daenerys asked, showing an intense curiosity in her voice.
"A lot of things. Anyway, the king of Westeros is dead, by the hand of the queen herself. I only removed his arms and cut off his tongue. But it was the queen who gave the poison to her own husband, and he died bedridden," Jon said calmly, surprising everyone there, and he continued.
"Anyway, I brought some very interesting things from the south," Jon said, as he pointed to an area and began to release his alteration magic.
In the next moment, a huge and heavy object hit the floor of the tent with a thud, crushing the earth and the fabric of the place.
The Iron Throne fell hard there, while Jon looked at it satisfied. Lucis, Ygritte, and Val looked confused, but quite stunned by that enormous chair made of sword blades. Daenerys immediately widened her eyes.
"That... is that what I think it is?" she murmured, seeming to lose her breath upon seeing it.
"Exactly," Jon replied with a smile, approaching it and sitting down, turning to them.
"This is the Iron Throne, which I stole from the bastard Lannister king," Jon said, breaking into a smile.
He now wanted to imagine how the southern lords would react upon learning that the precious Iron Throne, which until then had been stuck in one place for nearly three hundred years, was now beyond the Wall, in the middle of a camp of those they considered savages.
"Wait… that's the chair of the king from the south?" Val asked, recalling the famous chair mentioned by Jon and Daenerys, seeing Jon sitting there arrogantly.
"Yes. This throne belongs to no one but my family. Nothing fairer than for me to take it and keep it with me, don't you think?" Jon said in a provocative tone.
"Jon, stop joking. Tell me exactly what you did in the south," Lucis stepped forward, demanding from Jon.
"Alright. I'll tell you exactly what happened," he said, as he began to narrate what he had experienced when he advanced with Winter to the south, more than two moons ago.
Jon still remained seated on the throne, while drinking a bit of something. The women were seated at the table, eating some things he had brought, preserving everything in the state he placed them in the dimensional space. There were fresh fruits, a good drink, juices and even wine. The table they were at was from the Red Keep itself, the same one the royal family used to eat at — made of solid and rare wood. Jon had replaced the one they used with this larger one, worthy of queens for him.
"So you basically caused the death of the king from south of the Wall?" Lucis murmured after hearing the accounts.
"You could say that, although I wasn't the one who gave him his final death, even though I knew exactly what would happen when I saw the king going to the Red Keep. But I acted justly. I faced him in a fair fight. Now, I can't do anything if I'm much more powerful than him," Jon said calmly, as if the fact that he was some kind of demigod was an advantage — and, to many, he was a god.
It was a fair fight, with a weapon, in good condition to fight on equal terms with him. He is what he is now, and nothing can demand him to fight as if he were someone still bound by human limitations. It doesn't matter who he's up against.
"You really are unpredictable, Jon Snow," Val murmured, equally surprised knowing that Jon was invincible.
"Maybe," Jon gave a smile. "Anyway, let's relax today. Tomorrow I plan to start organizing things around here in the camp. It's time for us to start preparing to march south," Jon said seriously, while they nodded.
"I'll take some fruit to my brother," Lucis said, picking up a tray as she headed outside.
"Hey, Jon!" Ygritte said, getting up from the table, looking frustrated, and a bit drunk from overindulging in the wine.
"Hey, why don't we go fuck... a little? It's been 2 months!" she asked directly to Jon, while he gave a small smile.
"Go to bed and rest," he said. They still had an entire day to relax. He wouldn't go acting like an animal in heat the moment he saw his women.
Ygritte clicked her tongue and slumped into the bed, crashing onto it, while Val went to clean up the mess they had made. Jon saw Daenerys, who looked thoughtful.
"What's bothering you?" he asked her directly, taking his eyes off the table. She looked at him a little surprised.
"I was just thinking... about what's going to happen now. You killed the king of Westeros, caused a big mess in the south, didn't you? And now we'll be going after the throne?" she asked.
"Of course," Jon said, getting up from the throne in the middle of the tent and sitting beside her. She looked a bit shy.
"Don't worry," he said, looking sideways at her with a serious gaze. "Soon this chair will return to King's Landing," Jon said, referring to the Iron Throne there in the middle of nowhere, "and it will belong to our family from now on. Just like all the Seven Kingdoms. We'll deal with all our enemies and wipe out some families for everything they've done," Jon said seriously.
"And what will happen to me?" she asked, a little cautious due to the situation they were in.
"Don't worry about that," Jon replied and continued. "You'll be in a place that should belong to you. And don't worry, you won't be sold to any lord in exchange for political support. That I guarantee you."
"So I can choose who I'll marry?" she asked, her eyes gleaming.
"Of course you can, you won't marry anyone unless you want to," Jon said, before leaning in and kissing her forehead.
"Jon, get over here!" Ygritte shouted for him from the bed.
"I'm going to stop giving you wine," Jon muttered as he approached the bed and summoned more Springs to remove the alcohol from Ygritte's system. While Daenerys still watched him from the table.
The next day, all the camp leaders were gathering in the command tent, which was still used for meetings. Mance was handling things while Jon had been away. All the leaders — that is, those old and new ones Jon had appointed to lead functions and groups in the camp — were gathered there.
Instead of seven leaders, there were now fourteen, with him being the fifteenth and king beyond the Wall. Everyone looked at Jon, who had removed the Iron Throne from his tent and placed it in the command tent. He sat there, with everyone facing him, a little surprised to see that giant metal chair with sharp swords all over it. Even Mance had a hard time believing that the Iron Throne was really there, serving as the seat for the king beyond the Wall — which was ironic.
"Well, it's time for us to begin," Jon said those words seriously. "Let's make the final preparations before we advance to the Wall."
